Weird. I've never got that on Windows Live Messenger. I use Palringo if I have to get on and talk to someone on MSN, but I've linked my cell number with MSN so if someone sends me an offline message, I get it as an SMS. Within 2 days of registering with Palringo and inputting my MSN account details? I had to use Adium's privacy settings because I was getting MSN spam every 5 minutes.
So yeah, Palringo fails miserably.
