As of today they don't have even one game with a launch date. In total they have 4 announced games, Ragnarok sometime this year, Spider-man maybe sometime next year, wolverine who knows.

The 4th is Horizon VR game Call of The Mountain, no date for that either. What the heck is Sony even doing right now?

They JUST released Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7.

Sony isn't announcing games 5 years out, so you don't have stuff comparable to Fable 4, Elder Scolls or Metroid Prime 4.

Do we really need announcements before games even begin production like the competition has been doing?

Sony have moved to shorter marketing cycles

You will generally get announcements with 1-2 years before release

There's also the fact they are in a cross gen phase. You'll see alot more announcements once Ragnarok is out. No need to steal its thunder
