There is possibly some dei skin color checkbox designs, like there is no white phat ass lady twerking on the top of a car. But I think it’ll be fine.

What's funny is that I had never even noticed the cross-dressers that hung out at Cockatoo's before Rockstar went out of their way to take them out of the PS5 version of the game. After it made news, I fired up my PS4 version (which hasn't been censored) and went back to find them and laughed my ass off. Rock Horror Picture kind of stuff that is so far removed from from reality and clearly satire, it's mind-boggling how anyone took offense.
That's what I'm thinking. They may have DEI stuff going on behind the scenes, but as long as the game still brings the goods, that's all that matters.
I think it'll be fine.

DEI training is the fucking worst. One of the main reasons I abandoned corporate life. They forced me to acknowledge gender is social construct, respect people chosen pronouns, who are the privilege and who are the oppressed, etc, etc. And I had to take the training annually and sign-off on it.

I liked her but i can understand where some people come from but it's kinda of a stretch, she trust a lot of men in the gang and for the first couple of chapters she entirely depends on men and she doesn't seem to be obsessed by that like a modern femist would do.

It's not just Sadie (which is a borderline protagonist) being a literal fucking cartoon, completely out of place in an otherwise somber game, and immune to any kind of consequence from her dumbass actions always putting the gang at risk just because "She's badass", that when put in constrast to female characters in that truly mature and colossal masterpiece of the first RDR (strong female characters, like Bonny or Luisa which are light years ahead as characters, other being actually believable and organic) is the embodiment of pure cringe..
It's also the amount of social commentary, all the random "he's the best of us all, we're luckly to have him" Lenny asslicking, and things of this nature scattered across camp dialogues and NPC you would never in a million years find in a product that's a result from creative vision ONLY, like the first one was.
You can feel the interference in RDR2 from miles away. And I've spent literal thousands of hours in it, I love the game, but I would have to turn completely blind in order to not perceive the colossal difference.

They retroactively edited stuff out in the old games, including GTA5. Which came out in the distant time of 2013. Also, Rockstar North is based in Edinburgh. Being Woke (if it's true) will not negatively affect GTA6, but it might affect GTA online, and future of the franchise. Just look at Star Wars, no one would have believed if you told them 10 years ago, the franchise is completely in shambles, yet that's what happened. No IP is impervious.
