Messi is clear of everyone I have seen play.
People who are curious should seriously take a look on YouTube for compilations from Maradonna and Pele they were on another planet also but Mbappe plays in the modern game similar to Messi but Messi is several rungs better than Mbappe and at the same age messi had much more hype and was definitely actually better.

Mbappe is fantastic but his main attribute is speed. He’s probably not as good as CR7 at his age , who was speedy but had more to his game like aerial finishing and a free kick specialist.

As others have said he’s similar to Henry probably not as good and Figo.

His club team play in a pathetic league and he needs to move to La Liga or the premier league to show how good he really is.

For what it’s worth I think he’s better than Haaland.

I agree mostly there. Regarding Haaland, he's fast and has great presence on the pitch but lacks the ball skills (from what I've seen) that Mbappe has.

Ball handling, dribbling, passing, speed (arguably), and a lot of intangibles favor prime Messi. And it's not like you have to wonder, there's plenty of video to show the hundreds of amazing touches, playes, nutmegs, or whatever you like about Messi.

Mbappe has to start winning some UCL and Balon D'or's (lol)

Portuguese Ronaldo has had his moments but there's something about his play that is a lower level than Messi and there's plenty of video to back that up. You can't mess with his great track record regardless of how selfish his play is. Messi is in an exclusive table with the likes of Pele/Maradona.

Another thing regarding Mbappe - He can win 3 world cups for whatever that's worth. BUT if his stats and accolades don't go further then 3 WC's doesn't make anyone the greatest. Pele's stats at least give him an argument even if he never played in Europe.

I find Mbappe to be a Ronaldo lite. A similar selfishness and lack of maturity that just keeps me from being 100% in on him. That's why I like Haaland too because he's a nicer guy to digest and is killing it with his contributions.

Messi is on a different league like Ronaldo for example. Mbappe is great... and that's about it.
