I'm talking about the Revolution. There's no way Nintendo's Revolution is only the controller. Nintendo must be hiding something in unit itself.. or they're just plain stupid.
Here's my reasoning for this:
If it's only the controller that's the "Revolution", then Microsoft and Sony can easily rip it off and pretty much render the Revolution useless since it won't be anywhere near as powerful.
Secondly, if the controller is the "revolution", why is this at the cost of hardware power? I would assume that the Revolution would allow for at least 4 players and there's no way they'll sell a controller at $70 or more.
My guess is that it's not only gyro or reconfigurable controls or whatever we can think of but also, they're up to something with their wifi and concerns on power consumption plus size. I'm thinking that the Rev is meant to be a portable device that can be brought anywhere easily and can also run off batteries.
How can they do this? I'm not sure but I'm thinking that there's either some form of LCD that comes with it, or that the DS is capable of receiving video feed from the revolution or the Rev can hook up to portable LCD devices which would explain the monitor support.
