This is why I use a computer program to randomly generate unique 128-bit alphanumeric passwords for every website that I visit.

With current technology, I don't think brute-forcing my password is even possible.

Lastpass has a full range on PC's and smartphones and is easy to use.

Yeah my email has been on a few leaked databases over the last year and I get requests to change my passwords at tons of different sites. It's quite annoying, I don't think anything's been compromised yet, but I have to be somewhat vigilant to monitor the accounts I care about, like bank/steam/google. I use different, complex passwords for most sites, but you never know.

ninja edit: actually, the one account that was compromised was my crunchyroll account, someone got in and changed the email/password to the account, while my cc info was still there and i was still being billed for premium. Contacted support about it, they finally fixed it after about a week (while ignoring my request to remove the cc/personal info and cancel premium). I even got charged for another month during that week I didn't have access. They were no help at all really, I ended up cancelling everything as soon as I got my acct back. Screw CR, and screw hackers.
