Itch.io shadow bans all adult games

There's a page with a dossie on the whole situation:

These people wont stop after porn games, they will target violence and nudity as well. Art itself could be compromised. The situation gives unparalled precedent for censorship.

They start with porn, then they go after violent games with nudity like Cyberpunk 2077, GTA 6, and then they will go after everything else that don't abide by their 'christian values'.

Every slightest offensive game, movie, hentai, manga is at risk of being targeted.

Honestly, the world should jusy adopt Brazilian payment methods

Playing Devil's Advocate, if you believe in a free-market system, then payment processors should be able to decide which companies they do business with. You shouldn't be able to force them to process payments from companies they don't want to work with.
Absolutely right. Which is why they must be circumvented with decentralized tools.

That's all fine and dandy, until the effective duopoly of Visa and Mastercard decide they don't want competition.

Not to mention the amount of capital any competitors need.

Visa/MC have already been lobbying the US government to start messing with Pix.
