Not sure if anyone was aware of this? Alex Aniel (CVX Freak) was able to interview lots of people, including Mikami and Kamiya, about the history and development of the RE games, up to RE4. 250+ pages long

It's only available in physical format in the UK. Releasing in other regions in July.

Available in eBook format and preorders are up on Amazon for it.

The Resident Evil Podcast had a great interview with him a while back, he details alot about the book.

Yea, Alex is a good guy. He's speaks Japanese and lives there now, works for Limited Run Games. I'm confident that he had some fantastic interviews with people.

Yea, I think he stopped there because the higher ups who worked on everything past 4 are still employees at Capcom. All the big interviews he got for the book are former employees. One thing he discovered, that I don't think has really been touched on, is that Capcom was doing rough financially prior to RE (Arcades weren't as profitable) and Resident Evil kind of saved the company from potentially going under.
