Thanks for all the well wishes everybody I just came home to grab some stuff, I'll show this thread to the missus when I get back to the hospital as I think I mentioned I'm using my cell phone as a IR modem for my laptop in the room... it actually works alot better than I thought it would... not broadband speeds for sure, but easily comparable to dialup speeds for the most part.

Now have to grab some more baby clothes and get back to the hospital. Last night was the first 5-6 hr night of sleep I've had in the last 2 days... man did I need it.

Both mom and baby are up and alert today.

I just read this thread to the wife... she loved it and laughed at many of the comments... she said to add her thanks to mine for all the well wishes.... Nyer-uh is how we are pronouncing it... and man I can't remember where I found it.... the missus told me a bit back about the Swahili definition though.... and no it hasn't settled in that it's real... I find myself staring at her in the bassinet and just thinking... wow.... thank little person was just in the missus kicking and punching her stomach... and now she's out here with us....

Oh and she's definitely going to be a gamer if I have my say in it... ouch to my wallet? Can't be anymore ouch that the amount of money I already spend on games.

As a token of my appreciate I bought the missus a diamond heart necklace today... I just wanted her to know how much I appreciate everything she had to go through to carry this baby for us.

And hey Lucky we decided to wait until next fall to make the purchase BECAUSE of Nyera... we actually didn't know the missus was pregnant and well... yeah her pregnancy made us adjust some priorities... it's all good right now she tools around in the missus SUV, and next fall I'll trade in my Accord. PLUS I'm actually seriously considering lookin at the Mazdaspeed 6 now... 6 speed, AWD, 270hp... Feb '05 is the launch I believe.
