Most likely Sony gets the dough. Even if Game Republic got a share though, those revenues will hardly have been enough to put a dent in GR's debt of $10 million. Monster Strike, however, is another story.
The DLC isn't only outfits, though. It contains a number of extra quests you can access by speaking to the nighttime and daytime bartenders in Doolin. Some of the storylines of those DLC quests expand on plotlines that were otherwise left hanging in the core game, such as the motivations of Suzette and Ellen's mother. They also include a number of new Folks that you can unlock by doing the aforementioned quests. I would certainly recommend them, if you enjoyed the core game.
