As good as Game Pass has been, it's almost always the worst version of a game.

Yep, it's a big issue. Microsoft doesn't care about it's pc store. You can't watch cutscenes of Quantum Break, once an xbox exclusive, while steam version works perfectly. I had mouse issues with wasteland 2, which are known, while steam version works great. Stalker 2 patches arrived later than steam version. I couldn't play Forza Motorsport before they removed it from store, it didn't work... etc.

On top of these problems, they didn't bother to port Gears of war 2-3(or Fable 2) to pc. They simply don't care that much about pc gamers. They've alienated console users as well. I really don't understand what they're trying to do.

Btw NG 2 only lacks dlss atm, I saw fsr 3, fg and fps 120 options... but it's unacceptable. And xbox app works better than ever, but still...

Not the first and the last time Microsoft Store (not Game Pass) is offering an inferior version of the game which needs additional updates (and who knows how long they'll take). It's pretty crazy they couldn't improve the process of adding games to their store to make them identical to other platforms on launch day.

I am inclined to agree. Indiana Jones and the great circle has had DLSS trouble with ages and I can't find a way to use DLSS swapper (I don't think there's one). Been tempted to purchase the Steam version only for that

Gamepass is my rental service like blockbuster. I try a game on there and if I like it I usually buy it on another platform. Examples: Lies of P or Citizen Sleeper. If a game doesn’t seem like something I want devs to make money off of then I may still play more on gamepass before I get bored or I just uninstall and move on.

This parity issue isn’t that bad. Most games are totally fine. When it does occur though it’s a pain.

Yes i was a big fan of PC gamepass for a while but i've just given up on it. I ended up buying some games that i knew i wanted to keep and you get a discount if they're on gamepass. I regreted every single one.

Every time a game got an update for instance everyone on steam would be enjoying the game while i was waiting for it to drop on gamepass which was always later. And not minutes. Hours. Sometimes i went to bed without the chance of playing while everyone on steam had been playing it for hours. Some games are missing cloud saves for some reason. Lost my dead cells save game because of it. You could say i should have checked before doing a factory reset but why? Why would i want to check for every game when on steam i just know i wont lose my save
