It's funny when people are getting banned for console warring while some of the mods are console warriors

With all do respect to good mods and the attempt to squash annoying over-reporting:

I feel the ban on it is futile and not targeting the root issue.

What SHOULD be focused on is whiney users that use the report button as their personal 'go to mommy' button. Instaban them, but let people discuss console differences. Please.

Let's be fair here. The DF comparison video thread about Ghostrunner is still going on and that's a nothing game. It's not the PS fanboys keeping that thread going.
 
Damn Kretos, you were one of the few hardcore Sony fanboys i got on with, and i thought one where you could discuss stuff without it getting too console war like.
There is a reason why so many of you have fallen, and lol its nothing to do with a green bias by the mods. In fact i'm pretty certain almost all my 9 warning points over 3 years have ben in Nintendo threads, including just getting 3 warning points about a month ago for posting a Marty Mcfly gif in a Nintendo thread started by the user 'Marty Mcfly' lol. I certainly wont be posting in many Nintendo threads anymore on here, joking or not.

I love how there's a "Live" tag to this thread, like there's some ongoing drama, while the OP has been permabanned and that's about it lol.

People get banned every now and then, no biggie, but how they come back tells everything about then, that's when most of them show off their true face, and well, OP failed that test spectacularly.

Console warring is fine if done ironically. Serves as a cringey reminder from when we were teens so as to be grateful for having mature discussions instead lol.

Well opinions are opinions. OP may be right in some cases and not in other.
All and all this is a forum, forums exist for people to discuss. I don't think being a fanboy is a bad thing, this is what makes this place exciting after all right? All we can do is express ourselves properly, making jokes to each other, have fun even if we have console wars between us.

I think everyone here comes to read news, express opinions and console wars, is that right? Please correct me if I am wrong. In the end we all having fun with console wars right (with a sense of humor)?
