And how can it be anything other than Scrooged?
Shit. You right. I'll keep Scrooged up there but this is legit the best Christmas movie.
Bad Santa is up there for me as well. Dark af but hilarious.
I sense a pattern here. You don't care for the darker holiday movies lol. That's cool. Scrooged is the only one I rewatch regularly. Bad Santa is a once every few years thing. I honestly forget it had a sequel. Probably a good thing.I find that movie and especially the sequel incredibly depressing holiday movies

Have you seen the Jim Carrey version of "A Christmas Carol"? I dig it.I like ones that make you feel good about family and the holidays. Scrooged is not the worst in that regard but there's something about the overall aesthetic and plotting that I don't enjoy, I've only seen it a couple times.

I need to get around to watching that version fully. My father was a big fan of it.I have not actually, I should watch it this year. I typically watch all the ones I enjoy during the week before Christmas, then on Christmas Eve I watch the black and white version of A Christmas Carol starring Alastair Sim.
It's super dated and, well, wonderful! It's not Christmas till the town saves George and everyone watching blubs.Confession. I've never seen It's a Wonderful Life. I probably should.
All makes sense why your tag is "basic bitch" now.Confession. I've never seen It's a Wonderful Life. I probably should.

It's awesome dude. I saw it at the Redford Theater here in Detroit. Really old theater where they have a live organ player who rises from the ground during intermission and everything
Anyway so after intermission (I think?) they bring out this frail old bag and shes like "I was the baby in this movie!" and we all applauded at the fact she was still alive.
Good times. Awesome movie
Netflix has you covered, my man.Why doesn't Hollywood produce more Christmas movies? The country is thirsty to watch and rewatch decent ones every 12 months.
Hallmark movies lol. I feel like Hollywood makes them still they just aren't any good. Why doesn't Hollywood produce more Christmas movies? The country is thirsty to watch and rewatch decent ones every 12 months.
This. I religiously rewatch Die Hard every december.

They churn out christmas shite aplenty.
You're telling me A Christmas Prince and its two totally unecessary sequels don't qualify as decent??Keyword: "decent"

Yes! How could I forget. My only problem with the dvd release and beyond is that they cut out a song. One of the most emotional points in the movie and they cut it out.Muppets Christmas Carol
I watch this every year and own it on VHS, DVD and now on Amazon streaming.

I can't say for certain. I thought I heard one of the henson kids thought the song was to dark for the munchkins after they looked at it again. Should be on youtube. "The love is gone" should be the name.Is there a story behind this?
