This is a long walk, sorry:

Bit of some political stuff went down at work - argument between three groups as to who is responsible for what when it comes to a service we started using a few months ago. I argued that it wasn't my group's problem
because frankly it has nothing to do with us, while two other groups actually pushed for it and launched it alongside a vendor. A bunch of middle managers who happen to be a rung above me on the org chart dogpiled on me in the emails, but one of those fucks CC'd the CTO.

The CTO responded to the two middle managers thusly, sic / paraphrased: "Burger is correct here. Their team needs to be left out of this while you two figure out the financials and how we support this moving forward. Again, without Burger's team - this is not his problem".

Those middle managers didn't even bother to include me on their future emails lol. How I felt as I went back about my business:
