Spike said:Revolution is backwards compatible. There might be something like the PS2 playing PS1 games with slightly cleaner visuals for Zelda 2005 running on the Revolution. Also, I fully expect that you'll be able to use the Cube/Wavebird controllers with the Revolution for the backwards compatibility, if the revolution really is revolutionary in terms of controller interface.

I'd say both of these things are very likely.Unison said:Reggie said Mario 128 is coming out on GC AGAIN in EGM this month. This means one of two things, I think.
1. There's no way Revolution won't be backward compatible.
2. There's no way Revolution will launch this year.

The anime characters were added by Japanese forum readers, who are (or at least were) apparently obsessed with the IGN editor pics.Hero said::lol
What the hell? Who are those female characters? Did somebody draw those to add to the funny of the IGN pictures or is this a freakish coincidence?
Also, the original IGN pics, the top one was reaction for Pac-Man and the other was what again?

As for the pics themselves, the "disappointment" picture was from Nintendo's E3 conference where Pacman was demonstrated. The "excitement" picture was staged and was taken shortly before E3 2004 as an illustration of what their reaction was going to be (because of the Zelda trailer).
