Okay so the guy was balding really bad. Of course you shave it all off at that point if you don't want to look silly.

Then he loses a bunch of weight to boot. So now you're a skinnier guy with a shaved head. You have to really be more careful with your wardrobe if you look like that, because you're going to either look really old or look like a cancer patient. Dressing like that makes it instead look like a fashion choice. Really, it's a fairly logical thing to do if you think about it.

I don't think anybody would complain if his metamorphasis didn't look like a walking talking XBOX ad campaign, It's just that when you have the prior pictures where he looked a bit more "conservative" it just looks so lame, especially the addition of the earing, and neon green shoes. However I will say good for him for losing the weight, he looks a lot better in that regard.
