Looked at ebgames.com and saw that Jade Empire has dropped to 20 bucks. Is it worth it? Is it something that I will enjoy or does it get boring or so? I remember initially the GAF Hype train was pumping this game hard, just wondering what the thoughts are on it now.

At 20 bucks this game was golden. Other than that, no.

Gameplay was basically KOTOR meets an early 90s beat em up. A masher's heaven

Yeah, the stupid price drop also cut into my trade in value. I only got like 17 bucks for the game.

Damn it.

I hope this taught Bioware a lesson that Jade Empire was dumbed down too much.

It was dumbed down a bit too much, the combat and lack of inventory management, but it was still a very good game (for me). I enjoyed the characters, atmosphere and storyline very much. The only other gripe I had w/ the game was that I wished it was longer.

True. I wish I didn't buy mine for 50. Jade Empre 2 is made I'll wait for it to be 20 bucks before picking it up.
