465,800 (Wii January 2010) > Switch > 319k (Wii January 2011)
PS5 is a bit harder.
Wii sold 679,200 units in January 2009.
Wii MSPR in January 2009 was $250.
Wii MSPR in January 2010 was $200.
These are estimates based in MSPR so if the Wii was heavy discounted the numbers can be a bit lower but that can be offset by the fact I'm using $400 to calc the maximum and $500 to calc the mininum.

BTW great result for both PS5 and Switch.
PS5 had a stronger January than PS4 in 2014 both in units and revenues (they set a record on the latter) and its seriously supply constrained so it could do much better.

Low numbers for PS5 would be 235k. PS5 had the highest dollar sales since Wii in 2009, but that doesn't mean it sold on par or better. It did better than January 2010 and Wii was around 465k

- Legs of Modern Warfare and Ring Fit are really good. Legs for BOTW are insane

I don't think the supply constraints have much impact, Switch is just continuing the momentum it had from before next gen launched.
Or to put it another way, if PS5 supply was much worse I don't think Switch sales would have been significantly higher.
The first thread made on the NPD results tends to be the general one. Its better to have one thread on the results than different threads for each one.
Just like media create, we have one thread on Japan sales each week not one just for Nintendo's results and another for everyone else's.

Switch being the top hardware is based on NPD results though.
It's much better to have one thread on everything rather than one thread just on units. Otherwise we could have one thread for top platform by units, one for top platform by revenue, one for software, one for accessories etc etc.
