Switch 2 debuts as fastest selling hardware in US history

And if they have made 2-3 millions available it would have been 2-3 millions...

Front load launch to get headlines.

It helps if your console is ready for quite sometime and you are just sitting on top of it waiting for old consoles sales to diminish.

Great strategy all around.

Even in U.S. Nintendo Switch 2 has crushed the previous record.
NS1 selling more than XBS in the month the successor is launched is also surprising.

All consoles can sell 1.6 million. What this really means is that their launch was the best prepared with the most available.
WiiU sold 1.6 million units in U.S. but it took exactly 1 year (first 12 months).

Nintendo created gaming consoles as they are today … and they are still on another level. Just amazing to see

seriously how many competitors have the seen eliminated? Sega and Xbox bring the biggest of course

Only Sony left and even them are faltering from the strategy nintendo created (hardware with exclusive titles).

After placing several previous orders and canceling and watching systems in stock on BB website all day yesterday, I have made the final decision to join the club. I figure I would get it eventually and will get my monies worth over the next several years. Now I can officially say I have contributed to the successful launch. You're welcome GigaBowser GigaBowser . :messenger_winking_tongue:

Edit - even better. Ordered from Target and with 5% off red card and $50 in gift certificates.
Yeah, I was legit surprised to see it just there available on BestBuy and Target websites.

I do wonder if it means that demand is falling off a bit or that Nintendo is going nuts to the wall on production!

It's going to be interesting to see this Holiday season how well MK and Pokémon do. I suspect quite well if the price doesn't go up due to 15% tariffs.

Nintendo want to sell 15 million of Switch 2 in just 10 months… The console is going to be available.
