Your comparison doesn't make sense as we don't have an NPD OP.
I've been reading NPD threads on GAF for over a decade and they always include all information. They don't filter out information based on the preferences of the thread poster.

It would be particularly good to get platform breakdowns. I wonder if the Switch SKU is the highest one for Immortals. That's what happened in the UK and we know Ubisoft is finding a lot of success on Switch.

Gamers are older than ever and can spend $500 on a 7 year investment. Lets make sure the PS5 Pro is also $499.

But the Switch sold more units over the PS5. So it is #1. That is how it has always been.
Every company's PR used units sales when mentioning NPD data. It was always been unit sales for hardware and revenue for software.
