How is it that this already looks like a better production than TNA?

This group has some smart minds for wrestling behind it(Mantell, Lagana, Jeff Jarrett) and none of the idiots. Also Colors I believe chipped in for production values as well. Supposedly a great show in front of a super hot crowd. It's a 26 episode series that airs for 13 weeks.

This is still one of my favorite rasslin gifs. Hogan is incredible.

He was/is one of a kind. His run of the late 90's might be better than his run of the 80's.

Also I like Sunflower, I find I agree with a lot of what he says. Also the things I don't agree with him on at least come from knowledge of the history of our grand sport.

Sunflower is in my fave five, for sure. Royal Rumble stream ftw

The jacket! The rose! the promo! Wade Barrett is the man and I fully support his rise up the ranks of WWE. Best 5 mins of SD i've caught so far which isn't exactly a hard category to win.

I have to chuckle at this From the vault match being shown, the super team of Cena, Taker, HHH and HBK against Legacy and Pre fully main event CM Punk, what a mismatch!
Taker gets the pin and then Cena's music overrides his for no reason, not to be defeated HHH then of course has to do the same with the DX theme

Aw thanks guys. I just love wrasslin! Bootaaay is still THE man though, when it comes to knowledge. And I miss Liu Kang Baking A Pie.

TNA Impact Wrestling president Dixie Carter says she’s ready to make history in London in a fortnight.

For the first time, her company will be filming their flagship TV show from London’s Wembley Arena on January 28.

It’s a double TV taping – two editions of Impact on one night.

Dixie, we’re happy to say, is a long time fan of FT. And the first lady of wrestling wasted no time in picking up the phone to us this week to tell the British fans what she has in store for them.

Legendary “Icon” Sting, for example, will be performing his final shows in front of a UK audience, she tells me. Indeed Wembley will be his last match on UK soil.

As the Californian ring hero has left and come back again twice in recent times, it does beg the question why? It is the first time he has set foot on British soil to wrestle in a decade.

Dixie says: “In his mind, I think this is his last year as far as the wrestling is concerned.

“When we booked this, that’s the way he was talking about it – ‘I haven’t played there in a decade, and before I retire I need to come back there and wrestle.’

“Based on where he’s at and what he’s saying, barring something extraordinary this is the last time.

“And for me it’s great to be able to bring him back there.

“He’s spent such a big part of his career helping to build our company, I’m very proud we can bring him over.

“It feels very final. It’s going to be an emotional night.”

What of Mr Hogan? Will he be making the trip too?

Dixie says he’s been laid up of late after dental surgery. She told me: “The truth is I haven’t heard from Hulk in a while.

“He knows what’s going on – he’s a businessman, and he knows that it’s an important date for us. He will be eyeing that very carefully.

“He’s been gone from the scene. My goal would be to have him there. You’ll be the first to know if he is.”

Despite recent rumours to the contrary, British standouts will play a full part in proceedings.

Doug Williams, Magnus and Mark Haskins will all be on the tour.

Says Dixie: “There’s no doubt that those guys have done a lot of groundwork so they deserve to be on the show.

“One thing to be proud of now, though, is that being British is not just a gimmick.

“They are great wrestlers who happen to be from England.”

Dixie is beside herself with excitement about the whole tour. The cameras will be in Manchester and Nottingham too.

In fact, she admits she’s got nothing else on the brain right now.

She tells me: “When I left the last TV taping in Orlando yesterday, I was thinking about London – just thinking about walking into the building and the different feel it’s going to be. Ten times the craziness going on backstage.

“We’ve got such a great team. We are stepping off the ledge but I know we won’t fall. I know we will pull it off.

“I’m excited. It’s giving me butterflies.”

Dental Surgery stop Hogan, yet Angle wins championships with a BROKEN FREAKIN NECK

So your saying Hogan needs to get numb on pain killers before every match like Angle?

Also its kind of sad that Sting might retire without ever wrestling in WWE.

He will get in the HOF for sure at some stage but he really should have done one run in the E.

I think it's kind of awesome if he remains the one major North American star to never wrestle in the WWE.

I agreed with him in 2001 to not be DDP'd or Booker t'd by the WWE because they clearly had no idea what to do with the WCW guys.

But years later it is a regret now. :'0

He deserved a Wrestlemania.
