Lol, for some reason, you remind me of Johnny Cage in the first Mortal Kombat movie. Just in total disbelief of the world he's stepped into. Now, should they try to incorporate their history better, and not forget things two weeks later? Yeah, but people forgetting about Kane and Taker's powers is just as ridiculous to me as Orton trying to kill Cena with stage pyro, and them becoming friends just a few months later.

1. I don't expect them to change it at all, and I'm cool with trying to enjoy everything around the Kane angle just as I've done with all the other angles I haven't enjoyed.

2. It's well established that a sledgehammer doesn't kill anyone in the WWE. That's the difference. Kane and Undertaker's unsuccessful evil schemes have all had the threat of death or serious injury to them, both of which are not going to happen and would never followed up on. It's too far in the fantasy direction to the point that I KNOW there is no logical way to follow it up. With what I enjoy about pro wrestling, why would I bother getting invested in that type of angle?

3. Again, I'm pretty sure I dumped all over Orton trying to kill Cena after I finished laughing at how absurd that was, as well as their patched up friendship. I'm nothing if not consistent in my bitching.

It's also been well established that Kane and Taker don't kill anyone. Hell, quite the opposite, they seem to come back just fine.

In that case, why would I EVER care about incompetent monsters if I KNOW nothing will come of it? Just another reason for me to dislike the supernatural angles. I'm fine with using crazy lighting, ominous entrance themes, and weird attires for an intimidation factor. It's once the lightening bolts, and fire powers, and threat of murder, and psychic links, and magic, and "abyss holes" get involved that I tune out.

I think once you've stepped into that world, you've stepped into it, and all that comes with it. The Undertaker is just as much a part of the WWE as any technical move.

Sure he is, and everyone's free to enjoy his black magic antics. I'll just suffer my way through it until a match of value with believable consequences comes around like HBK/Taker II streak vs. career. That was WAY more compelling to me than any supernatural feud because they established that all of Taker's shenanigans was for intimidation, and HBK was having none of that. It was believable.

Trust me, it's not about age. I legitimately never cared for that stuff in pro wrestling. When I was a mark, it was all about who had the best attires and moves. As I got more into it, I started appreciating the finer parts of working a match, telling stories, and mic work. Supernatural guys and supermen were never my thing.

Oh. Well, alright. That's completely understandable. I guess every single aspect of the industry can't appeal to everyone.
 
The Y2J return would have been a million times better with some better commentary.


no wonder the crowds are dead now a days. Even the commentators sound like they dont give a shit.


for epic returning superstar commentary I look for something that gets me pumped... something more then "hey look its Chris Jericho"
