The what now?
Looks it up
What the fuck man!? Jesus is everyone who does a falling headbutt going to be a complete fucking tool domestically? sigh...I always just watch matches and never follow news overseas. This shit always left fields me hard.

I'm leaning towards "innocent until proven guilty" on this one - for one thing, his accuser went to the papers instead of the police and Honma strenuously denied the accusations, before announce that he is suing her for trying to damage his career. It'll be interesting to see what the outcome of that case is, but surprisingly this seems to have done more damage to his image overseas than in Japan - it didn't make the mainstream press at all in Japan and didn't seem to be a huge issue amongst Japanese fans, but it was heavily covered by the Western wrestling press and there was a lot of outcry from fans online.

So I had drunk sex with this girl last night and she's now telling me she had to stop it because i kept talking about wrestling.

Like how important ROH is to WWE
and how I hate WWE is the most popular
And that i said if you can make it in WWE, you can make it anywhere.

So its more likely a ridiculous accusation like when fans try to sue celebrities over insane made up stories? Guess that'd mean his spouse was goin for the harshest breakup she could deliver before leaving him if thats the case. Not only would she leave him, but she'd ruin his career too.

Don't know what to make of this though. Could be true. Could be fake. Its fucked up though either way.

Oh my god... thanks to Slightconfuse for posting that Rizin fight with Akebono/Sapp... just finished round one and poor Bob Sapp! He makes Akebono bleed a few times and each time there's a stoppage so that doctors can close the wound. He's really upset between rounds one and two and yelling that he wants the fight to start already.

I like how WWE still pushes the narrative that Starrcade was their answer to WM.

How the fuck do you answer a question that wasn't asked until 2 years later ?

Serious question, because I wasn't watching then, but was WWE trying to make Lashley be Ahmed v2.0?

More like Lesnar 2.0.
Yeah, more like Lesnar, albeit without the manager that helped Lesnar initially. He got to throw around a few guys, good moment with Umaga in the cage match, and had a great look. Obviously not a good talker. You can get around that with smoke and mirrors.

After his PPV match with Cena (which was pretty good), he took a short time off due to injury. Then WWE tried for force his real-life GF into a romance role with Edge and she turned it down, and later fired her. Bobby quit too because of that and Hayes.

This little quip, WWE
On the "morally degrading storyline" that made her quit WWE: She said it all began with the Teddy Long wedding storyline. She says she was concerned that it wouldn't be tasteful, and while Stephanie McMahon told her it would be tasteful, Michael Hayes told her it would be raunchy. She said she was hearing two different stories from two different people, and if it was going to be distasteful she wasn't going to do it. She said Hayes didn't treat Bobby Lashley well in the past, and Hayes actually said he doesn't like Bobby "or anyone that looks like him." She said she knew if she didn't do the storyline she would lose her job, but she was willing to do that. She says Trish Stratus carried herself very well in WWE and wanted to be like her. She puts over Fit Finlay as a great teacher.

He was basically getting the same style of push Roman Reigns was getting but on the B show back when Smackdown was its own thing.

The squeaky clean face who wins all the time but sucked on the mic so he never really catches on.

I call it the Lex Express push.

Not really sure what the end game was with him.

Lex express, lol. After re-watching some older stuff it's amazing how many of the old guard got by entirely on gimmicks alone.

Fuck my life

This is what happens when you cut funding to schools. Not enough education about the importance of #safe sex.

I'm sorry the system failed you.

Shit, he'll be 16x in '16.

17x. Beats Reigns, then beats Rollins when Rollins beats him to win the belt back. Bionic cries, Vince cries. Flair cries when he has to watch Cena celebrate with Charlotte and Nikki the next night on Raw.

I think we all know the real reason for it having to stop was that having to talk about the state of the current WWE product is enough to slaughter any man's erection, thus Aeternus Malum screwed Aeternus Malum.

WWE booking kills another angle, gosh darn it!

Can't blame WWE for this one. Malum worked himself into a shoot, and worked himself out of bed.

Lashley made Ahmed look like a top ten superstar.

Lashley was so robot, unlikable, and just downright boring.

The correct comparison as one mentioned, Vince tried to make him as the next Lesnar. During that period, many coined the named "Black Lesnar" for Lashley.

Same initials and all which is crazy. But Lashley wasn't a damn believable heel at all or a monster. All he had going were big muscles and a wrestling background that never showed up in the ring.

Even as a face he fucking sucked.

Holy shit dude, he fucking sucked. And so did 2007.

2007 started out pretty promising before turning into THE WORST YEAR IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN PRO WRESTLING
I still think that belongs to 2015 but it's close of you forget the Benoit shit.

2007 at least had those awesome HBK matches. Edge was running shit on SD. Taker was going strong before getting hurt before the summer. And John Morrison surprised all of us.
