Too soon? Honestly, WWE has done worse you guys.

Seriously, where the fuck was Otunga?

Why can't both Miz & Ziggles be in the match?

Whoops! EC has always been a six man event. I thought 2011 & 2012 had seven men. Sorry!

Leave Punk on the outside so he can have a one-on-one match with Kane.

Punk has to be screwed again at the Elimination Chamber. Kane keeps him locked in his pod and then has him DQ'ed. Punk attacks Triple H on the RAW the next night, also beats up Kevin Nash, and the Old Aged Outlaws.

Brock will probably be left out as well so he can have another "monster" match against Big E or Henry.

Brock's storyline is being brought back to win the belt. He specifically called out Orton and Cena, not the winner at WM. He will be in the EC match, and then face the champion at Extreme Rules before leaving permanently for UFC.

Do we have a list of the people who were removed from the Rumble match after they were initially confirmed to be in it? I'm thinking Xavier Woods and Bad News Barrett.

NeoGAF's smiling token!
An undersized wrestler with a hideous beard that isn't fit to appear on Good Morning America or a late night talk show as the face of a billion dollar company. That is the actual truth.
He can shave, but the fact is that WWE fails to realize the days of muscle men are largely over.*

Unless they work like Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar.

That energy.
Wish he would do this stuff more often.

That's incredible. No wonder the turned the crowd mics down.

Seriously what little we saw of the audience, many of them were recording with their cameras. This may sound a but mark-ish but this should be part of that #YesMovement thing that's getting pushed. Compilation of every single one of those recordings.

realising (well not realising, I knew it happened, but just...being reminded) that they manipulate crowd reactions and shit when they repeat shows, or that get pissed off when people dont cheer for who they want them to cheer for is like when I found out wrestling was scripted, the control of the whole thing just goes deeper and deeper, its a shame. Why do we keep watching again? This isnt a threat, I know ill keep watching (lol), but why?

I hope Cole uses "coming off on of the most controversial PPVs in recent memory" to open the show tonight. For the first time ever, it would be justified,

So I read that Daniel Bryan story on BBC. Just went back on there to read some other things and just noticed where it was on the most read stories on the entire site...

That's right, no-sell a police standoff. Wrestling is the real issue.

Seriously, the only time there has been that much of an audience revolt to the action was that Batista V Big Show match on ECW. Other than a few times where Cena has been booed here and there, I don't remember a time this has happened LIVE ON PPV.

"That's right Michael! CM Punk is waiting in the ring right now to address the WWE Universe, and Korporate Kane!"

So why does Vince, HHH and co think Batista is a draw?

The first time they gave him a main event push they found he is not a draw and send him to SD to bring Cena to RAW. So after hes first push he was relegated to the B show, so at much he is a B+ player.

His return to Raw got 5 million-plus viewers, something they haven't gotten in a long while, plus he's starring in a major motion picture coming out this summer.

I expect more standard Raw fare...
"We are live coming off quite possibly the biggest rumble match in WWE history as well as the the latest chapter in the legendary rivalry of Cena and Orton, welcome to Monday Night Raw!"

"That's right Michael! CM Punk is waiting in the ring right now to address the WWE Universe, and Korporate Kane!"
"You said it Michael, our audience last night were vocal and having fun witnessing the return of the animal Batista and his hard earned rumble victory overcoming the record setting Roman Reigns no less!

*Daniel Bryan chants*

"hey listen to those fans chanting lets go Sheamus hot off his recent rumble return!"

As an aside I love how whenever the audience is vocal in disapproval the commentary team play it off as them "having fun", magnificent.

Rusev is gonna bomb so badly. He's pretty quick for a big guy and throws decent kicks but he's boring as shit.

Sami Zayn would've been better but he's hurt, right?

Yeah, Zayn should be just about cleared for the live NXT next month.

You're right about Rusev, which is why I miss managers. He could easily be aligned as a real American or a Heyman guy though. He needs a mouthpiece.

He needs careful booking, like Umaga got, or Reigns gets. He has some talent but it's far from the complete package you need. Also give him Aksana as a valet, give her something to do.

Smackdown generated a fairly good rating for a while, it's not like what Smackdown (and Raw even) does now. He was one of the most popular guys in the past ten years, right behind Cener.

Commentary is absolute garbage in those moments, but I guess they'll do anything to stay on script.

I think tonight they'll play up the possible concussion angle as a reason why they didn't send Bryan out there for the Royal Rumble. HHH will let him know it was in Bryan's best interest and as someone the fans all love, him being injured wouldn't be best for business. From there, he may get a title match promise or he beats the holy heck out of HHH and we get a Bryan/HHH feud.

The Sun held a web chat with Kurt Angle, who was promoting the TNA tour in the U.K. Here are some highlights:

- He put his WrestleMania 21 match with Shawn Michaels as his favorite. He called Michaels "a full package" and he considers him to be the best of all time. He later called HBK the greatest wrestler of all time and noted that he could have a five star match with anyone.

- He said that Chris Benoit pushed him to the limits and their matches were intense. He said they raised the bar on each other, and they were really competing. He said that the Benoit tragedy is a shame because he brought so much to the table.

- Angle said his rivalry with Brock Lesnar was probably his best because they came from similar backgrounds. He noted that they had a shoot wrestling match backstage and that it didn't matter who won, just that the rivalry felt like they were back in college. He also revealed that it was his idea for Lesnar to do the shooting star press at WrestleMania 19, so he had to take some of the blame for the botched move. Visit Wrestling Inc.He said that he worried that if Lesnar didn't kick out, he would have had to hold the title for another month and he needed surgery. However, Lesnar kicked out and he told him what to do next to finish. He later said that Lesnar was never scared to wrestle him Olympic style, and said that he was scared when they had their shoot match. He put over Lesnar for being a freaky athlete, but said that his technique was far superior to Brock's and he let the technique do the work because you can't match his strength.

- He would wrestle The Ultimate Warrior if the opportunity arose. He said that Warrior had the greatest charisma of any wrestler, and he would try to have a five star match with him.

- It was disappointing to see Hulk Hogan leave, but they had to make a decision if he was worth keeping on knowing that he couldn't wrestle again. Angle said that he thinks Hogan could still benefit the company and has a great mind for the business. Visit Wrestling Inc.He thinks that it would have been worth it to keep Hogan around, but TNA had to make a business decision to see if it was worth the big money that they were paying. The company signed some great young talent that they probably wouldn't have been able to if Hogan stayed, so ultimately he thinks TNA made the right decision.

- He does see himself returning to WWE, but he doesn't know when. He's very happy in TNA. His contract expires in September and he's leaving his options open. He does have that desire to go back, but doesn't know if it will be this year, next year, etc. He said that there are a lot of guys that he wants to wrestle there like Daniel Bryan, CM Punk or Triple H. Visit Wrestling Inc.He said that it's not a bad thing to stay in TNA, but he does have unfinished business in WWE and will go back at some point.

- He said that the past two and a half years were frustrating because of how TNA was using him. He said that he finally spoke up around the time he left for rehab, and he realized how much he loves pro wrestling after that. He said that because of how much he loves the business, he doesn't see himself retiring.

- They get a little spoiled going to the UK because they have their biggest crowds there. They know that they are not WWE, but they are growing internationally.

- Angle Foods is no longer in business because they were in too much debt. It was a hard choice, because they were beginning to turn the corner.

- He said losing Sting was "about as bad it gets." He said that Sting is the cornerstone of the company, and that he was their leader. He doesn't know who will be the next cornerstone, but losing Sting was a big blow to the company.

- Angle was asked if he was ever really in love with Stephanie McMahon. Angle laughed and put her over, and said that she looks even better in person. She said that Stephanie said that he kisses like a fish, and he'll never forget that. He said that she seems like has it together all time time.

It's the new Bizarro LAnd

Look at how cool JBL is. How come you guys don't like him?!

Back in 2006-2007 JBL was by far my favourite commentator and his JBL character is top 10 worthy for me.
Even if he's a lot worse now on commentary I still rate him over King and Cole, such antics like his post elimination commentary last night showing why.
Or it's my JBL bias.
