Finally catching up on NXT, the editing on Zayn's return promo was some of the worst sound work ever. They just played a clip of him saying "end" over him saying "kill".

Adam Cole will be a great pick-up for WWE in a year or two.

I'm at a loss for other top tier talent they would go after though.

They should have Rollins defend his MITB case on the MITB PPV so it's basically a contract renewal match for him. He goes over stay being the best heel in the bidness and cash against Bryan or whoever at the Survivor Series.

..or just have the Authority extend the contract for him because he's a heel. While allowing him to participate in the match still (he'll lose) but we can have a story of two case holders which could create some pretty fun situations.

Watched an old Raw from 98 and a Smackdown from 03 for the 1000/1 project.

Vince vs Steve Austin, despite being a no contest fuck finish, they never got into it, but it was a fantastic build up. Vince had on WBF pants which is dope. Owen Hart vs Billy Gunn was the drizzling shits. Terry Funk debuted.

Smackdown on 9/11/03
Stephanie took on Brock Lesnar. Vince acted his heart out and this is in the middle of Amazing Vince. Bork was also immensely entertaining. Nunzio had a match, he's really fun. A heel Cena took on Eddie Guerrero in a hardcore street fight that was really fun, I highly recommend watching that match. REALLY fun seeing heel Cena, it's been ages.

Found an old comp I had on VHS and fired it up today. Does anyone else remember the WCW cruiserweight tag team tournament? Air Raid was pretty awesome and holy hell a Johnny Swinger sighting!
