At least I think the chart is 12/19.

1. (PlayStation 2 - Konami) METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SNAKE EATER
2. (PlayStation 2 - Namco) Tales of Rebirth
3. (PlayStation 2 - Square Enix) Dragon Quest VIII
4. (DS - Nintendo) Sawaru Made in Wario
5. (DS - Nintendo) Super Mario 64 DS
6. (GameCube - Nintendo) Mario Party 6
7. (GameBoy Advance - Capcom) Rockman EXE 5 Team of Blues
8. (PSP - Koei) Shin Sangoku Musou
9. (PlayStation 2 - Bandai) KIDOU SENSHI GUNDAM VS. Z-GUNDAM
10. (DS - Pokemon) Pokemon Dash

Good for MGS3. Funny to think that Japan may be the game's leading market.

Nice to see DQ8 and the DS games hang on. :)

MGS3 has passed a million easily.

Dynasty Warriors was released same day as Metal Gear Acid, MGS3, TOR etc. Did 25-35k on it's first day depending on who you ask...

Oh... That's a bit on the low side.

Man Sawaru and Mario 64 have been up there in the top 10 for a good while now, they're definitely going to do quite well in the long run. I think we'll see Minna no Golf and RR return in the weekly sales figures, but there's only so many PSPs they can sell to, most likely why they're not on the chart.

There are more DS' in the retail channel, so their software sales should be higher.

Besides, Mario and Made in Wario are still popular franchises in Japan last time I checked.

respect for Japan +5

so has DK: Jungle Beat not made the charts at all? I'm assuming it either a)got lost in the shuffle and didn't get sold worth crap, or b)just didn't sell enough to break into the "OMG PSP AND DS WIN!" releases.

Predictions for the week:

1 Metal Gear Solid 3 PS2 550k
2 Tales Of Rebirth PS2 500k
3 Dragon Quest VIII PS2 120k
4 Daito Pachislot PS2 85k
5 Gundam vs Z Gundam PS2 75k
6 Sawaru DS 70k
7 Mario 64 DS 65k
8 Mario Party 6 GC 65k
9 Dynasty Warriors PSP 60k
10 Super Robot Wars GC 55k

It won't be in the long run. I expect a healthy boost for MGS3 sales numbers in December.

Couple reasons:

1) Game sales are usually always up in December

2) Good word of mouth is helping out

3) Konami of America has actively been advertising the game since the end of November

Dynasty Warriors PSP sales aren't horrible. But I don't know if I would call the setup a true Dynasty Warriors game. Instead of having seamless levels, the whole stage is broken up into chunks that have to be loaded individually do to the lack of streaming on the PSP. The whole setup has me reconsidering buying the game once it hits NA shores, but I know I will get it anyway.
