Oh, so the cover from the regular version was taken on that set? The squiggly melody sounds a bit Arabian flute inspired.

That's the song you linked to, sounds great so if you haven 't heard it yet wait for MV for maximum impact.

Great news, Czecho no Republic will make their major debut with their upcoming album, Neverland, which will be released on October 30th. Their new label is Columbia.
http://youtu.be/khlTuLtOxg0

Keytalk also announced their major debut a few days ago, their label will be Getting Better, which already has bands like The Bawdies, CreepHyp...

Jupiter's first album was about what I expected. I really enjoyed it. There was one song that had sections more similar to Melodic Death Metal than Power Metal. I think that it's awesome that their new singers, as opposed to Kamijo, can do some great vibrato, and do pretty solid Metal growls. I'm happy that most of the band has returned. I look forward to their future.

Anyone heard of Organs Cafe?

They're a small band but I love their jazzy-organic-pop sound that is just missing from plastic-sounding J-Pop these days.

Sounds really good. I wish I was into Jazz more since I have little to no knowledge about Japanese Jazz influenced bands. The only band I know is Che-a and their only album is rare and hard to find, but from youtube clips, they are amazing.

I posted some J-Jazz the other week when Soil and "Pimp" Sessions released their new album. I recommend them, Tokyo Jihen, Little Fats & Swingin' Hot Shot Party, Indigo Jam Unit, Mouse on the Keys, Paradise Lunch, Quasimode, Tokyo Brass Style, Kitteni Shagare, and →Pia-no-jaC←. Some of these artists are Jazz Fusion and Jazz Pianists. Soil and "Pimp" and Tokyo Jihen are my very favorites, though.

Yes, you did, and had a little a little listen to some of them.

Now that you mention some, I am actually familiar with some of the names you dropped such as Toky Jihen and Mouse on the Keyboard. Sadly, I was not fan of either of them (In fact I really dislike Ringo Shina and her vocals). I am not particularly fan of Jazz Pianist either. But will go through some of them, when I have the chance!

Mind, Japanese Jazz-punk is something I actually enjoy *obligatory; another post of recommending you lot to listen to the new 385 Album Ningen. Its bloody amazing*

Picked up the Perfume 1st World Tour DVD today. Slightly annoyed it wasn't filmed at the venue I went to, Seoul, as it was the biggest on the tour, but still

it's the perfect Perfume 1st Live Experience set list. Too perfect.

Opening
Night Flight
Computer City
Electro World
Laser Beam
Spending All My Time
Love The World
Butterfly
Edge
Secret Secret
Dream Fighter
Fake It
Nee
Chocolate Disco
Polyrhythm
Encore:
Spring Of Life
Kokoro No Sports
My Color

I'm sure it'll be worth buying. This 1st World Tour DVD is a wonderful watch because the smaller venue gives us a clear focus on the dancing and choreography that the bigger shows filmed in Japan these days may lack. Very engaging

So tricot first full length album is dropping this year and I'm excite! This song from them is pretty sick

http://youtu.be/d6rxGmvQPLU

Yeah, I am excited as well. Its quite ridiculous its their first albums since they have been existing for while.

Also The Chef Cooks me Sounds really fun. Reminds me a lot of Holidays of Seventeen. Maybe that will quench my Holiday of Seventeen thirst. Even though they have released a new ;bum last year, I want another one :/

Yeah The Chef Cooks Me was a fun album, very unorthodox style.

I really like 阿部芙蓉美 (Fuyumi Abe), she's one of my favorite Japanese singers who really goes all out on her songs. It's like every single one of them is trying to tug at your emotions, and the production she has in her songs are brilliant, it always sounds a lot more refined than your average pop song.

OK, Now that I have listened to the new Head on the Sofa more, I have to say its god-damn amazing. Very reminiscing of My Bloody Valentine's Début album Isn't Anything.

Thanks Infinite!

Oh, damn. I missed a bunch of stuff from the past few days.

salyu × salyu does some interesting stuff with looping vocals in a live studio performance.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFRTBaBPNL0

soulkids put up a new MV since their mini album came out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyYrkuM_9_I

Kettles, whom I've not heard of, put up a new MV. I really like the dynamic between the female and male vocalists.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9utYkKBkHpk

I have no idea how I missed a new song by MOWMOW LULU GYABAN. They're quite odd.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0E9CazNP30

I don't post enough Hip-Hop; here you go. Salu - Datenshi Pajamas
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCSW1Lhxnew

Finally, here are a couple songs that I can't stop listening to from the past few days.
Tesla wa Nakanai - ”Anderson”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ij4W4ySijBs
This one is just awesome. Listen to it.

To Overflow Evidence - ”Te wo Furu Kimi e”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ai0FnU-Z-4#t=24
I don't know why I like this song so much. The vocalist is fuckin' raw, and I love it.

Yeah, Just Listened to the new TESLA Doesn't Know How to Cry song and it was good. Its been a while since they have released anything. 2 Years ago they were really hyped by the Japanese indie community but fell of the radar. Good to see them back.

Can't wait for the new album. Should be awesome if Anderson is to go by.

Heh, their previous album was released last year, it wasn't that long ago.

Hmm, must have missed them. I just remember my friend talking about their soundclound stuff few years back and their mini albums

Did they became major or something?

The are saying that Anderson is their first Mini-album. But that is just bull because I know at least 3 mini-albums way back

I was looking at the Sweet Love Shower line-up (which is amazing) and discovered a great female duo.
ハルカトミユキ (Haruka to Miyuki). Their support members include musicians from Syrup16g and Abstract Mash.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8RpYHfFfAw
They'll release their major debut album in a couple of months, I'm sure it'll be great!

I also discovered go!go!vanillas , a pretty young rock band. They released their first album last July and it's pretty coo and catchyl! It kind of reminds me of andymori, which isn't a bad thing at all.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuR2_dpfsJc

Also listened to Brian the Sun's first album. Another relatively new band, I'll keep an eye on them, I loved the album.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbN8-vsELsw

And finally I listened to Akai Ko-en's first full album. I'm not a huge fan of rock bands with female vocalists but they're quite good!

Yeah they released a few mini-albums before that but most of the songs on them ended up on their first full album so... Don't know if that really has to do with anything though.

I'm really glad you dug it. I actually thought the same about them haha

Also I've been completely obsessed with Annie the Clumsy lately. I had her mini album Annie the Clumsy Vol 1 in my best of 2013 list so far and it's really something. Her sound is very minimalist with her just strumming some chords on a ukulele or banjo with really cute, funny, and perhaps very clever lyrics delivered through a soothing sultry voice. It's all very charming. Bandcamp

Yeah, I have heard her in various blogs I have been following. That price is quite cheap so I am going to get. I can see her getting bigger with each release and instalment. The few songs I have heard was quite good.

Anyone into Glitch? The latest Shigoto albums is pretty much freaking amazing. I realise he is half Japanese who lives and make his music in America, but whatever. His music needs attention because he is one of the most talented musician in the genre.

Yes yes yes. Finally got the milky tangerine's new album, sympacity!
I've been in love with 切ないダンスミュージック(Setsunai Dansu Myūshikku/Painful Dance Music) since the music video in mid-July. Finally, it is mine. I imagine that I'll enjoy it even more than Tuning Life.

If you haven't heard it, treat yourself.
