No they're in Japan.

Then I'm mistaking them for another band. I know there's a Japanese band that lives on the UK. I tough it was LITE, but I probably thought that because they tour a lot there.

EDIT: I *think* there is a band. Went do some "research" but couldn't find anything, and now I think I'm crazy.

They released an album in 2013 and still headline the major rock festivals. They also did two shows at the Budokan this week to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

Honestly it's hard for me to say which album is their best, I like them all a lot. Dawning was better than Movement (which was still great) imo though.

Anyway, I listened to my SAKANAMON CDs and they were all amazing. INSUROCK already secured a spot in my favorite albums of 2014 list. It's so fresh.

The new generation of rock bands (SAKANAMON, Keytalk, KANA-BOON, Gesu no Kiwami Otome, go!go!vanillas, OKAMOTO'S, [Champagne], CreepHyp...) will never cease to impress me.

Couldn't believe it when I saw this in my Twitter feed. But since they're close friends with the band...
MiChi and SEKAI NO OWARI were also at the show.

This is my kind of music. The bass and guitar timbres are awesome, and the acoustic riffs are tight. The singer's voice is pretty gorgeous. This is my first time hearing The Winking Owl, but I'm looking forward to more!

As promised BiS are going to split up in the summer.
They are touring Japan during May & June and will finish at Yokohama Arena on July 8th.
Album "Who Killed Idol?" is out March 5th.

Just came back! The gig was fucking amazing. Not only them, but the supporting band all impressed me. I am too knackered to write anything now, but I will post my impression at a later date!

My friend saw them in Dublin on Monday. Annoyed I couldn't go.

Oh Pity. But they said they will come back to UK and Ireland for another tour, so you will see them :)
I am actually contemplating whether I should go to their gig again in Leicester tomorrow...

Actually, I am already going to see Speedy Ortiz tomorrow and the tickets are paid in advance, so....

When it comes to importing physical Japanese albums, what is the best site to use? Cheers.

Edit - And before you say YesAsia, it appears they don't even have the album I want listed.

Need that blu-raaaaaay.

Japaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn.

Oh well at least you'll be able to watch it on Youtube since Sony only likes people who live in Japan.

I'm digging Atsuko Maeda's upcoming song. I like her solo songs way more than AKB48, maybe because it's pop-rock oriented.

Plus, Thee Michelle Gun Elephant and the HIATUS's bassist was a support member at the latest Countdown Japan festival! How cool is that!

Their new artist picture also looks really nice...

It's been more than 2 years since the last one (it was released on November 2011 actually) so I'm really really excited. My most anticipated release of the year.

Discovered Hitorie (ヒトリエ) while watching the latest Countdown Japan festival. Formed by a vocaloid producer (wowaka, who is quite famous), their songs are for the most part fast-paced with crazy instrumentals. Love the voice of the frontman, too. They released their new EP today which is pretty damn good.

Huh. I didn't know wowaka originally did Rolling Girl. I always liked Aki Akane's cover, and that's the only version I'd ever heard. She's so cool...

When you say they were formed by wowaka, what exactly do you mean? Is wowaka in the band?
