Fair enough. Based on this I think he should go to prison, obviously. And you're right, I probably should have read more about it, but I stand by my original point.
By targeting the consumers they attempt to reduce the amount of people buying it. Less demands, in theory, should mean less is produced. It's a disgusting business, but if enough people stop buying it then less will be made. There's also the fact that people are paying go watch kids get raped or paying to have videos of it get made. You should get a long time in jail, it's disgusting and supports the destruction of hundreds of lives for perverts and profit.

....... wow.

To this whole story, just, wow.

Was Peter or anyone else ever found and/or prosecuted?

To my knowledge, no. I've seen that bastard walking around the streets of Fall River, Massachusetts around 2010, 2011.

At least two men that were my teachers in elementary school and one man that was my middle school vice principal all recognized me from that event. Some of them acted creepy and extremely sexual around me but never actual did anything other than touching me.

Edit: Actually, to tell you the truth, it's pretty ironic you asked this question considering your username and icon. You see, I think Peter's name was an alias to avert attention. My mother told me his name that he given her was Peter Griffin. When I first heard it, I thought she was mistaken, but no, I've seen his name on a love letter he gave my mom while he was her boyfriend at the time. That was his name, which is no doubt fake.

I can't count the number of times I've read people argue on the Internet that access to child pornography helps pedophiles resist acting on their urges, but Fogle was sitting on a library of Alexandria worth of it, and it didn't seem to do anything but make him want to act out on it more. Just watching is a terrible offense to the victims, and possession of it absolutely should warrant jail time.

The only possible way to end child porn with real children is to create an alternative with fake children.

Somebody will always be there to make it, you can't stop it. Not saying you shouldn't try, but it's useless to punish the people who are solely viewing because it won't stop the production. You can't hope to imprison everyone, you have to cut it off at the neck, or like I said, create an alternative (robots or cg or something) that keeps children safe, and money out of the producers pockets.

Its absolutely useless to punish viewers unless there's a direct link..

What the Flying Fuck am I reading here???? !!!! o_O

Dude, your opinion is just....man I don't want to get banned so I have to be careful, but DAMN DUDE.

I think he went into hiding because he had nowhere to go and he feared retaliation, but honestly, I think he might have ended his own life after dropping us off. Kiki, that's what they called him, was raised in that environment since birth if I recall. Once he turned 15, he was pretty much used as a personal sex slave for Peter (The man who kidnapped me) and his "job" was to teach the new kids how to perform sexual acts and such.

Sigh, that's really depressing.

I don't even know what to say, aside of mentioning that I'm happy to know that someone that went through something as horrible as that has survived. You're awesome.

Also regarding your last post, I'm not sure how I'd react with seeing the people that did that shit to you, knowing that they might still be doing so to other children, this world is just not fair at all.

Ms.Galaxy - I am so sorry about what happened to you. You may already know this, but Congress is in the midst of trying to pass a law that would require that restitution to victims of child pornography. A few people have already received restitution from individuals who have been found in possession of their images. Something to keep tabs on.

This guy is sick and disgusting and belongs in prison. The whole blaming subway and their sandwiches is total click bait and media nonsense. People with addictive personality that don't correct the behavior will commonly just change addictions. His lawyer tried this line of defense and it failed. It doesn't have a damn thing to do with subway or sandwiches and I'm sure they didn't actually try and blame subway.

That's really great, I'll keep my eyes on it. Honestly, I just want those videos and images to burn and never be seen again. So should this law pass, what do I do then or are they still in the process of figuring that out?

Is there any evidence that he actually molested any children, or did he just watch a lot of child porn?

I'll probably get a shit ton of flak for this, but I don't think that watching or having child porn should warrant prison time, just a large fine...

Unless of course there's evidence that he was actually involved in the molestation of any children, be it doing it himself or paying others to do it...

Putting these people in jail isn't going to stop the content from being created

On mobile, I may respond in more detail later.

I will say now that a direct involvement warrants improsonment, as I said earlier.

It has been made clear to me that this is not the case with Jared, so I will rescind my statement of this applying to him, but as a general sentiment I believe it to be true.

Unless someone can provide evidence that punishing viewers of child porn with prison has a direct link to the decrease of child porn content, I have absolutely no reason to believe otherwise.

I hope this was a permanent ban.

Just read the guy had 5.6 terabytes of the stuff between him and his friend. That's like a mindblowing huge amount. That much regular porn would be insane.

that is an absolutely insane amount

what the actual fuck

I can't even imagine how much 4K, lossless quality porn one would have to download to hit that amount. I'm not exactly an expert on the subject, but I can't imagine the stuff on there is exactly high quality, large filesize stuff. so there must just be an unfathomable amount of it gathered over the years.

fucking hell. who needs 5.6 tb of porn, let alone child porn. christ.

I hope this passes. But then again is it honestly good for the victims to go through the memories of it again.

I cannot relate as I was never in such a situation.

15 years seems way too lienient. That is absolutely disgusting.

Jesus, my sympathies to anyone in this thread (or anywhere) who has been a victim of child sexual assault. That's so horrifying to hear about.

And it's weird, but it's almost a cool thing for me to see you guys post about it because it tells me that kids who suffer even some of the worst abuse can still make it, can recover, can live their lives, and I want to believe that. There's a lot of hope there. Anyone who has survived this should be proud of their strength and resilience in a big way.

Another thing that jumped out at me was the 5.6TB of material. I... I find it hard to believe that there's that amount of material out there actually produced. Or I don't want to believe. That's such a phenomenal amount of crime, such an amount of children hurt. And I wonder how many of those poor kids were killed when they were no longer useful or when they talked. Makes me feel faint thinking about it...

God almighty, what a mess. Enjoy jail, Jared, you sick fuck.

fucking hell. who needs 5.6 tb of porn, let alone child porn. christ.

I just realised - if trading material is the only way of getting more, it's no surprise that the sickest of these individuals build up massive collections. Whether they use only 1% of it or not, it's probably like money to them. And now I feel sick again...

I understand completely. That is unfortunately unrealistic. But at the very least, you should get financial restitution for it.

It may be more difficult, because I believe you said that the person who produced these images was never caught. Here's an article from the NY Times from 2013. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IT CONTAINS TRIGGERING MATERIAL RELATED TO THE TOPIC OF CHILD ABUSE. The women in this story, one of whom was a part of the Supreme Court case that contributed to the creation of the aforementioned Senate bill, would receive letters from the Justice Department alerting her that material in which she was identified had been found in someone's possession. She then contacted an attorney who started "the public-interest Children’s Law Center in Washington" who helped her file suits against a number of individuals.

At this point I must admit that I am out of my depth, and if there are any lawyers/law students they should jump in with specifics.

I'll contact a lawyer about this and see if something can be done. Thank you for notifying me about this.

“He was mostly attracted to females who were teenagers, who were 14 to 17 years of age. His attraction was at the high end of that range.”

If that were really the case he could have just hung out in the over half of the States where the age of consent is 16 and been a legal creep.

“Once he lost weight, it seemed as though in a short time he had hyper-sexuality,” Bradford said. “There are brain disorders that can be associated with sexual drive.”

So he wasn't diagnosed with anything just "ya know stuff can happen in there I don't know."

Can't imagine why this wasn't a compelling defense.

Dude, if you've been viewing child pornography, you should turn yourself in to police. Your defence of viewers of child pornography is utter nonsense.

Yes, because children are below age of consent legally. Child porn is illegal for a reason.

What I do not get is many 18+ year olds can look and act like a child, so if that is your thing ... you can just get porn of that.
Zero excuse for possession.

All the hard drives I have don't even total up to that much. It's absolutely ridiculous.

He got off easy with 15 years, he should have gotten a lot more than that.

Oh fuck right off. Mild pedophilia? He had 5.6 tb of child porn, with the youngest being 6 years old. It's infuriating that they attempted to downplay pedophilia.

If he was hyper sexual after losing weight he should have stuck to those who are of age. 15 years does not seem long enough.

In trial, Fogle reportedly sobbed as he recounted how he’d hurt his family and his wife, who would be a single mother should he go to prison.

“You gave your wife $7 million,” the judge interrupted, “so she’ll be okay.”

Even his own lawyers called Fogle “pathetic.” “Nobody wants to be Jared Fogle,” defense lawyer Andrew Richard DeVooght conceded.

LOL!!! Damn!!!

I wouldn't be opposed to creators of content, especially if it involves little kids being molested or raped, to live the rest of their miserable lives in pain, like enough for it to be unbearable but not enough to where it makes them pass out. Others who profit from it should be locked up and the key thrown away with any assets they may have going to the victims.

I hope that piece of shit and his associates have been found out and are rotting in prison. I know there's been some pretty big busts over the last few years, if they're still out and free...

Oh my, this thread has developed in ways I didn't expect.
