This is the first time a review could single handedly change my opinion of wanting to see a movie. I hated Spectre so this straight murdered Bourne for me.

Which I guess warrants kudos to the author because they did their job and influenced my opinion.

They should have brought Franka Potente back. The series drops like 2 letter grades as soon as she left.

It could be revealed that a secret government Treadstone brought her back to life, and trained her in secret to be really good at punching throats and driving in the wrong lane. And Matt Damon is in trouble probably. The Bourne Revelation. Classic 2016 movie.

Specter was a solid action movie, a generic 7.5. I don't see why people don't complain for superhero movies when they're generally on the same level other than forced funny lines to show us how fun they are.

Still think the first film is the best one except the silly surf the body end.

Greengrass did a decent job with the others but they just repeat themselves and become a bit of a serious parody. The trailer for this new one makes me think not a lot has changed.

Yeah, I really disliked how the sequels were just a retread of exactly the same premise and action beats. The fight scenes were excellent, but I need at least some kind of half-decent narrative hook to sustain my interest.
