new Emancipator, and Kondor! what a time to be alive

Uyama makes good music, but the anti-digital shit is so stupid.

what kills me isnt so much just that, it's that im dying to have Hiroto's work on vinyl...it's a perfect fit. but it's just not there, so i have to settle for like $40 just to get waltz for life.

a few fat jon ones (good ones, but not my favorites) are on vinyl too, but as far as LP's go, that's ti for Hydeout, far as i've seen. with the resurgence in the medium i'm super hopeful - i'd do terrible things to get metaphorical/modal/etc on wax.

I dunno, just sort of comes off as obnoxiously pretentious. It's 2015, most of the greatest music ever recorded in human history is widely available digitally. I can listen to dozens of albums digitally from Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, etc. but it's not a good enough format for Hiroto Uyama...

I'm probably veering into obnoxious territory myself, so I'll put it to rest. Honestly not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things.

nah fam, your point's more than fiar. it's a weird stance for a somewhat niche artist who no doubt likes his music being heard worldwide - for my end, it's just strange to stay analog-only and not even ride for the other half of that, but i imagine that's on hydeout.

keeping room on my vinyl shelves for that label's work being released in the future #BELIEVE

watch someone with a 3D printer do it up instead

Just had this in my mail:

Dear friends,

Thank you for your support at breezewax.bandcamp.com over the past few years.

I have a lot planned for a busy 2016, including volume 3 of the Impressions remix series, more collaborations, and the long awaited album number three following up 2012's Native Sun.

For all the latest updates, sounds, videos and competitions please follow on the new official Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/breezewax and help spread the word!

I really liked his two albums so I am looking forward to the next album.

edit:

Awesome!

So I'd like to get into Madlib's instrumental discography but I have no clue where to start. I'm searching for beats that are jazzy and chill, it can be Madlib or Yesterday's New Quintet... anyone know of a good playlist to get into?

First time listening to this. This is incredible.
I've been lurking this thread for a good while.

Go outside to an area that has yellowed and orange fall leaves (preferably), and watch the time pass as you listen to it.

That album was the cultivation my my fall in 2014, and will be once again for 2015.

Honestly, I don't think my fall seasons will be the same with that album. The album art, the melodies, just.. Bliss.

Okay, I'll stop now, but I had to make this post after seeing that album pop up here. So good.

I remember first hearing Joseph Jacobs on majesticcasual. I think his song has 1,000,000 views or something like, but the rest of his music on his channel is just beyond underground. He has made so much good work.

I wish I had my headphones on my so I could listen to Soul of Freedom. Crap..

like the instrumentals, but again no idea why they wanna stay physical with this stuff but pass on vinyl, where this sound would be fantastic
