I know that feeling of having a relationship that lacks trust enough to get things like that happening. And I don't miss it. I've been with someone who's just like me and strips the relationship of reasons to not trust. If you have sman open and honest union then these little nothings would never become issues. Shame that relationships often aren't the most trusting but I don't have to worry about that and it's the best feeling you can have with your partner.

Both of them seem like immature children. Not many people like it when someone says 'I don't like the name xyz, an I call you x instead?' Seriously, She could have just asked if she can call the waiter 'Jess', I don't think the waiter would have problem with that. Then you have the waiter putting the other woman down while at the same time telling her that she shouldn't be putting other women down to bring themselves up.

Maybe, yeah, but then If she was being a little bit flirtatious, whether she was doing it to maximise her tip or not would be completely irrelevant. I suppose you could be a little too friendly in the effort of getting a better tip.

She didn't say the husband was ugly, she just said her husband looked better. I'm not surprised at the response, it's typical of a lot of women I know. She's basically saying I don't want your man, I have my own and he's better than yours. It's petty, but its not surprising. I mean the woman did pretty much accuse her of being a husband stealing whore, that's pretty damn insulting, especially when cited as the reason for why you're not getting a tip.

OP Should be updated with this, it has a response by the lady that wrote the note. She claims the waitress was shitty and lied about most of the stuff in that blog post.
I believe the waitress over the wife.
The wife says that the waitress was cussing at the group...and being rude.
yet, instead of calling for the manager at that moment....or that night.... they wait until AFTER this thing hit social media to come back to complain?
the fact that the wife left the waitress a note, with a winky face...gives the impression that the group wasn't really being cussed at or being treated rude. (infact you would think the wife would have mentioned the "rude" part in that note)
imo, wife has insecurity issues...and is a spoiled brat that she would go BACK to the restaurant...when NO ONE KNOWS HER IDENTITY.....she could've called it a wash and let it be..... but nope went back JUST to get the waitress in trouble.
If I were the waitress, I'd leak out the wife's name....but I'm a person who loves being an asshole to assholes. Bullying bullies. etc.
