I just checked out her Instagram and watched a couple of videos. Those pics aren't accurate compared to the videos. She looks really thin, but just like a 40 something Jessica to me.

I think the Madonna thread wasnt all about plastic surgery. It's also that shes in her 60s and looks like still doing it. It's not like she did surgery for the last time in 1998. She probably keeps doing it every few years touching up this to that trying to look 28. There comes a time to not do it anymore.

I'm not even a favour of any plastic surgery at all unless there is something truly tragic like someone was in a car accident, born with deformities, or needs a boob job because she had a mastectomy and doesn't want to be flatter than a cutting board. But when someone looks fine and is just aging the normal way, it looks pretty self centered to still be doing this at 60. Just age like a normal person and accept life how it is.

I don't know what threads you're talking about but the Madonna thread is about how bad she looks due to all the plastic surgery and the Jessica Simpson thread is about her looking like a meth/crack addict neither thread is about their looks due to their age.

GAF is probably primarily male. Men generally age better than women up to a point, and then we become raisins. It's fair.

I also think people don't expect men to look like they're 22 years old forever, either. In fact, most guys look better after 30, when they've fully matured. Many women in the entertainment industry (or just in general) chase this unrealistic dream of looking like you're a teenager again, and they end up looking like something created in a lab gone awry.

It's a shame, because many of these women would be absolutely gorgeous in their older age, but chasing the impossible turns many of them into... well, see the Madonna thread.
People just need to embrace aging. It sucks, but we all have to deal with it.

Oh, absolutely. Great point. I think the idea that salt and pepper is something to strive for in men, and youth is the noose around women's necks is definitely a sticking point. I often think "Why are most of the attractive older women I'm aware of people that I know, versus famous people?" and this is the answer. People are so enslaved to the idea that youth = beauty that they'll actively make irrational body modifications to try to STAY youthful, when like...there's a biological reason our bodies change as age. Don't play God. Just age gracefully. 1350 years from now when the Dulvikan Nation plows through the wreckage of 21st Century America and finds your gravestone, do you want the Klevinnik Warlords to find a box of dust, or a box of your tits and lips?

Yup.

Everyone ages. Even the most naturally youthful person at 60 or 70 will still look old. Thats life.

Key difference is women care more about looks, getting attention and try 10x harder being young and graceful than guys. That's why most stores in shopping malls are geared to women's clothes and shoes and most cosmetic surgery is done by women.

Most guys dont really give a shit no matter if they are young or old. I bet most guys have a certain basic amount of upkeep (shower, put on some half decent clothes, comb your hair), but beyond that most guys dont give a shit about dolling up or flaunting themselves for attention. I dont think there's too many 58 year old dudes trying to act and look like he's 26 or 31.

I don’t think it is drugs. She has just gained and lost weight several times. And that can take a toll on the body. She has probably had some tightening surgery due to the weight fluctuations.

Upon further examination, I think I've found and analyzed the aspects that immediately give the viewer a reflexive flinch. Bear with me.

The decor of her background is very minimalist. Contrasting values, pretty sterile, but in a homey way. The black and white accent each other nicely in a professional or home setting, and the human touches such as clearly visible paint strokes on the borders and banisters give it a very warm, sociable feeling that evokes classy get togethers and toasts for upper middle class colleagues at a work party that YOU'RE hosting. The issue comes into play when contrasted with Miss Simpson herself. For starters, the simple and elegant background completely clashes with ALL THE METH she's on meth jfc, get me a 12 piece bucket of fucking home style REHAB CHRIST JESUS KILL IT WITH FIRE.

Also, the fact that her lips are 95% silicone and are buoyant enough to float in blood, it pulls her face skin upward really bringing attention to the fact that she has the jawline of Sam from Cheers in a "very special episode,"
