Investment in anti-terror measures such as facial recognition and video tracking technology at John F. Kennedy International Airport is part of a $10 billion plan to revamp the airport, according to a report by the New York Post.

Governor Andrew Cuomo unveiled the plan Wednesday, which also calls for major improvements to highways, interconnected terminals, and an increase in flights.

Civilian airport employees and law enforcement officials are currently training to reinforce security, which will include anti-terror technologies such as facial-recognition and video tracking technologies, Cuomo said.

...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack

Hilarious. It says they will spend money for major improvements to highways. That'll take them at least 20 years to accomplish if they're talking about it now. Last I was in NYC back in May, the GCP/Jackie/Van Wyck interchange project STILL wasn't fucking finished and it started in 2010. 7 years for what they claimed to be a 4-5 year project.

The same kind of work in populated parts of Florida would get finished in less than 1 year.

Also the BQE and Belt continue to be a laughing stock, and the Belt doesn't even allow trucks or oversized vehicles on it for it to be that badly destroyed.

Wait you guys don't have face recognition already?

We have it here in melbourne, though it isn't used for counter-terrorism, it's mostly used for passport identification.

Makes going through customs a whole lot faster.
