Wow. what a show.
19 songs in 1 and a half hours... is this some kind of record?
Here's the song list as close as I can remember it:
1) Bleed American
2) Authority Song
3) Blister
4) Futures
this is where I get fuzzy:
5) Nothing Wrong
6) Lucky Denver Mint
7) Polaris
8) If You Don't Don't
9) Drugs or Me (Half of it, transitioning to)
10) The World You Love
11) Seventeen
12) The Middle
13) Kill (better than the CD cut? Oh yes)
14) For Me This is Heaven
15) Get it Faster
16) Goodbye Sky Harbor
17) A Praise Chorus
Encore:
18) Pain
19) Sweetness
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Jim is a total goofball on stage. All energy, all the time. They said at Summerfest that they would make up for their short setlist when they came back in the fall and man did they deliver. No "Work" or "23" was a bit of a let down, but they nailed so much of these other songs and expanded and improvised on so many others that the show was worth 3 times the 20 dollars they charged.
The bands that set up for them: Gratitude (okay, a bit generic) and Razorlight (is the lead singer clinically insane?? otherwise, pretty decent rock and roll)
