One of the jurors posted this video and answered some Tik Tok questions - obviously wishing to remain anonymous.
They knew she was fucking crazy from minute 1 lol and the constant looking over at them turned them off completely.

From what I have heard Tarana Burke who is the actual founder of metoo. Supports Depp. Props to her if true because the mob will come after her hard.

Hell, in public in general. Depp was met with enthusiasm when he turned up on stage with Beck in the UK. All the quotes in the media were about how happy/excited people were to see him.

Media Op-eds have really.screwed the pooch on this one. And I'm all for it; burn them all down. If I want shitty opinions and to share my own shitty ones, I'll come to the likes of here.

The whole thing centres around defamation, aka. lies made public detrimental to one's image. It needs to be played out in public to prove/disprove the defamation because it is inherently public at its core.

She wrote an article about him in the public space that damaged his image and reputation. They are both public figures. It literally is everyone's business.

The names of the jurors are sealed for one year, but that's to prevent the media from finding out who they are. If they wish, any of them can do whatever interviews they want with whoever they want.

The same people who take pride in dragging and canceling people now want to get high and mighty about how Amber Heard is being treat. They are mad that she is being treated the same way a canceled man is being treated. They even treat some women this way. JK Rowling was treated way worse than Amber for simply having an opinion but none of them were crying for her. They don't like that one of their own is getting a taste of her own medicine.

All these so called professional news and media outlets are so concerned with the 'message' that this trial sends to other women and use it to discredit Depp's win. What they fail to realise is that the message they are thereby sending to men is that no matter what, no matter the evidence, men can't be the victim. It's appaling.

What I find scary about deep fakes is that the government can use it to produce fake evidence if needed. When the technology becomes that good it can be used for bad. I know off topic and I don't blame you if you think it's just some crazy conspiracy theory I'm sprouting

Oh I believe you for sure dude. Have been so many examples already. I remember when they started doing it to porn for celebs, was hard to tell the difference and that was a long time ago.

Hell even used in film now. I remember the Reddit thread of (apparently) a co-creator. Was wild and scared the shit out of me for the same reason. Someone linked it, I hate Reddit, prefer forums. Format just annoys me.

So I did some digging on the tech, can't remember anything though as was so long ago. Back when it was big news initially anyway. Was made open-source I do remember.

Yet many a weird wank was had! (Felt guilty, so never looked them up again).

This isn't even a deep fake though. It's splicing video from separate sources and then dubbing over the audio.
