Actually, to me the entire show looks kinda cheap and lazy. Then again, Hokuto no Ken's Raoh Gaiden movie 1 art spoiled me. THAT is how this kind of art is meant to look on screen.

Because Jotaro's stand is Blue and Kakyoin's is Hierophant GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN

and it's Jojo. A series where students go to school with Peace Symbols and Dollar Signs all over their uniforms and Heart Shapes cut out of the chest of them.

I'm a fan of trench coats and capes and stuff like that, plus when they're combined with awesome cposes, so im head over the moon with jotaro's design in general.

Ive been holding out in hope that they'd do Stardust Crusaders as i've never read the manga (poor fan translations killed it for me)

They will probably use the environment lighting to play with the character colors and use different combinations, just like they did before (ie. Will A. Zeppeli in red).

I have read the manga, and yes, it looks nothing like the author's art style. I bought a new Jotaro figure 4 days ago, and it looks identical to the manga, but completely different compared to this old version of the show. Gotta love Medicos craftsmanship. Though I have to say, the 2001 show excels in one aspect, which is adding shades and details to the face. The new anime kinda lacks a bit in that department. The December issue of Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine is announcing on Tuesday that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, the television anime adaptation of Part 3 of Hirohiko Araki's original manga, will premiere in spring 2014.

In a CD bundled with the magazine, the staff also indicated that the anime will differ in some aspects from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle PlayStation 3 video game. The cast for the anime will be announced at the Jump Festa 2014 event on December 21 and 22. The staff of the anime also revealed in the magazine that since the art style changed from Part 1 to Part 2, they want to do the same thing with the change from Part 2 to Part 3. In addition, a compilation of the anime adaptation of Part 1 and Part 2 will air on Japanese television on New Year's Day.

Director Naokatsu Tsuda and series director Kenichi Suzuki are once again overseeing the anime at David Production. Yasuko Kobayashi is in charge of the series scripts, and Masahiko Komino is designing the characters.

David Production's earlier 26-episode television anime covered both Part 1: Phantom Blood and Part 2: Battle Tendency from the original manga. That anime finished airing in April.
