Huh, why'd they do with black over his more well known blue...
Of course, thinking too hard about JoJo colors is never good.
Like, Jotaro and Kakyoin are supposed to be wearing the same school uniform, right? So why is Jotaro's blue but Kakyoin's green
Obviously this isn't Araki's concern, it falls to Capcom/CC2/The makers of the OVA/David Production to answer
it's the face/eyes. looks weird.I really like the line work and detailing on the Jotaro design. It feels really... right. Not too hot on his Stand though. Something about it looks kinda cheap and lazy. I dunno. Maybe that's how the Stands are supposed to look in the manga anyway, just not a fan of it.

What? You mean it's not orange?Huh, why'd they go with black over his more well known blue...
Well anything is better than this.

I was curious when you said you didn't notice the cg in kill la kill but now you're saying that looks good? I don't know man. That actually looks good. The show itself was bad though, as the pacing was all over the place.
Dem color filter, maybe its not final anyway.I really like the line work and detailing on the Jotaro design. It feels really... right. Not too hot on his Stand though. That's the least of concern IMO, Star Platinum face always rather funny.it's the face/eyes. looks weird.

Suddenly had the desire to listen to the Jojo Medley again.

Because Jotaro's stand is Blue
They will probably use the environment lighting to play with the character colors and use different combinations, just like they did before (ie. Will A. Zeppeli in red).Huh, why'd they go with black over his more well known blue...

Some love part 2 more, but to me part 3 is better, and part 4 even more so.Ive been holding out in hope that they'd do Stardust Crusaders as i've never read the manga (poor fan translations killed it for me)
Hopefully this'll be just as awesome as the first 2 chapters
It's funny how everyone's talking about color in an anime when often times everyone's colors were all over the place for no reason. Jonathan had green hair sometimes, and sometimes Caesar and Joseph's hair were blue. Not to mention their clothes. They'll probably do the same thing here. I wouldn't be surprised if Star Platinum is pink at one point.
That actually looks good.
Or maybe Araki should stop being so inconsistent. They should just make the anime and video games in black and white like Araki intended.

no. Looks garbage if you have ever read the manga.
The last episode was already using a design closer to that abomination. It is good in a sense that it is better than the old version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVhJBdHBc30
It used to be much better: http://i.imgur.com/GxNT3pE.jpg

Dio sounds so wrong in the ova. Koyasu Dio is just perfect.
Is this bizzarro world?
Um no, Koyasu's Dio is masterful casting.
The abomination of course being the character design used in the prequel OVAs. He still looked good in the final episode, just closer. Is this bizzarro world?

Also, Koyasu is a great match for Dio, both in the anime and ASB.
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/new...n-spring-with-differences-from-parts-asb-gameThe December issue of Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine is announcing on Tuesday that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, the television anime adaptation of Part 3 of Hirohiko Araki's original manga, will premiere in spring 2014.
In a CD bundled with the magazine, the staff also indicated that the anime will differ in some aspects from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle PlayStation 3 video game. The cast for the anime will be announced at the Jump Festa 2014 event on December 21 and 22. The staff of the anime also revealed in the magazine that since the art style changed from Part 1 to Part 2, they want to do the same thing with the change from Part 2 to Part 3. In addition, a compilation of the anime adaptation of Part 1 and Part 2 will air on Japanese television on New Year's Day.
Director Naokatsu Tsuda and series director Kenichi Suzuki are once again overseeing the anime at David Production. Yasuko Kobayashi is in charge of the series scripts, and Masahiko Komino is designing the characters.
David Production's earlier 26-episode television anime covered both Part 1: Phantom Blood and Part 2: Battle Tendency from the original manga. That anime finished airing in April.
I wonder which characters will get different voices...?
Yeah, I don't see why they don't just have the actors from All-Star Battle to return, unless they're unavailable. Otherwise, I don't know what they mean by "differ in some aspects" to the game.I think the VAs from the latest game will return.
They just said they didn't care about the game.I think the VAs from the latest game will return.
