Joshua Weissman's YouTube channel - replicating classic fast food at home

Anyone else like this guy's videos? He's corny as hell and says "whisky business" too much but I like him. He was a chef at a top restaurant in Texas for a few years I believe. Got bored and made his own YouTube channel where he recreates classic fast food. He seems to be very strong on baking so most of his recipes involve some form of bread. I've made his burger buns and they are as good as any I've had at a restaurant. Nashville hot chicken recipe worked a treat too. Really want to try his Butterfinger and okonomiyaki recipes next.

I'm a Sam the Cooking Guy guy, but I like Joshua's channel. Sam's is less frantic, more laid back and more personable and fun.

Weissmans great, has a lot of very straight forward recipes if you want to improve your cooking skills. he does not over-stuff his recipes with loads of ingredients to show off like other Youtube chefs.

I’m doing pizza tonight. I used Josh’s dough recipe. Gonna do a classic Margherita with buffalo mozzarella and also a prawn, garlic and ree onion pizza. Got some San marzano tomatoes that I’ll blitz up for the sauce.

Another channel to check out.

David Seymour. He makes a lot of recipes from a lot of these channels and rates them. He also does videos where he takes the same food made by several of these channels and ranks each of them from best to worst. He makes them for the most part exactly as described on the channels and doesn't cut corners.

Joshua Weissman's usually does really well, but Seymour says his usually are the most expensive to make, take the most time, and require the most ingredients.
