Ho Ho seemed so green. He was really quite bad. I was like "I thought you guys said you found the 32 best cruiserweights in the world..." But I know, he's from Hong Kong, so that's cool. Maybe he's the best they've got right now. But then I was shocked when he won. I mean Other Guy wasn't much better, but still.

That being said, I look forward to his next match. Maybe he'll shock the world with sudden competence. Maybe he'll be more awkward than ever. Maybe he'll inexplicably win again.

I like that they're including guys like Ho Ho Lun and that guy from Chile who were the first to do pro wrestling in a region of the world where they don't have pro wrestling. I don't think they're going to be amazing their first time out there, but Ho Ho Lun seemed interesting at least and I bet will look better given more time.

I'm pretty sure they mentioned a 20-minute time limit for the matches. What happens if dudes go broadway, daddeh? Are they both eliminated? Does it go to judges'/referee's/WWE.com vote's decision?

I think for certain spots they're emphasizing the "international/global" part over the "best cruiserweights" part. You're not going to find the best wrestlers in Hong Kong or China because there's not really a scene for it there, so if you want a Hong Kong representative you have limited options.

She takes care of herself and hasn't let herself go. For sure can't be easy with the Schedule.

Plus, Vince doesn't believe in sleep but he doesn't give a shit about the wrinkles.

But the women? Hell that's why most quit by 30. It ages you bad. You need fucking sleep to have all health bases covered.

honestly it makes sense for them to give him a big push. chine don't care. yao ming got voted as a starting all star and didn't play a single game that season.

winning the cwc would be dumb af, though. keep the fans hungry for more. he should make it far, showing great potential, but ultimately falling a bit short. make him a fiery, scrappy babyface who ultimately succumbs to a much more experienced wrestler like ibushi. maybe even get him caught in a submission and have him pass out instead of tapping. it's a little bit overdone at this point but in this case especially I think you need to keep this guy strong.

Women really have a rough deal. When they hit puberty they get peer pressured into using a ton of artificial shit on their faces that simply can't be healthy for your skin. They have to be tan (which literally murders your skin). Then when they get older, they're constantly compared to how they looked at 20, by themselves, by their friends, by the guys in their life.

I do not envy women in the slightest, society isn't kind to them.

Watching Finn/Nak since I missed most of it thanks to Network issues, it's a good match

I know stupid chanting crowds have been discussed here at length, but is anyone else kinda grossed out by "fight forever" now being thrown out all the time by crowds. I feel like hearing it in the Nak/Zayn match was a special moment and it's almost cheapened by throwing it out like the new "This Is Awesome"

Like crowds are trying to recreate that moment because they're so cool

I'm glad my wife doesn't really wear make up and for the most part stays out of the sun.

The crowd ooooooOOOOOOoooooooo-ing his theme song, then stopping to cheer normally when he did his rope pose after entering the ring, then struggling to get back in sync of ooooooOOOOOoooooo his theme song was hilariously sad.

i'm honestly confident that plastic surgery will become as common and acceptable to women as tattoos are within our lifetime

so many of the biggest female celebrity role models have work done. I so frequently hear ladies around my age (late teens/early 20s) talking about what work they want done on their lips, breasts, etc.

apparently it's already the case in korea, only a matter of time before it's that common in the west I think.

The bad part is the pressure society puts and ties that to your self confidence. It's dangerous!

The only time I look down on plastic surgery is when I think it makes the person look worse than what they were before. Which is admittedly subjective as fuck, which is why I tend to keep that opinion to myself

Loved the first episode of CWC. Just put together so well. Didn't even matter that one of the matches was kind of a stinker. The package as a whole really shined through. Bryan and Ranallo are fantastic. Also it felt surreal seeing Ibushi in a WWE ring.

Balor vs Nakamura was pretty good. Not amazing but a very good match. I'm super looking forward to Nak vs Joe.

Yeah that was annoying. Crowd was acting like it was on the same level of Sami vs Nakamura, and it definitely was not.

Yeah, it's getting really rough to even watch NXT without getting annoyed at the crowd.

They might need to repurpose the Smackdown pipe-in crowdnoise team to NXT soon. They're free now that Smackdown is going live.

I think they have some of these cats be jobbers during the new brand extension. Give them another shot but I'm sure they know who already has the most potential anyway.
