The Worst and Worst of WWE Raw 7/9/12: Do not read this show report!

Worst: “Tout” Is Here To Make Raw Worse

Quick thought before I go … you know what would make Raw better? If the 75% who wanted to see Cole/Lawler in July of 2012 got video clips of them saying WWE catchphrases aired in little boxes during matches I’m trying to watch. Don’t ask US to “create”, WWE, DO THAT PART YOURSELF AND ASK US TO ENJOY IT.

Yep.

Here’s Punk and Bryan doing the finish to Silva/Sonnen II, because even they don’t want to be on this show.

The Worst and Worst of RAW said:
Why would Vince McMahon leave his flagship show in the hands of a dwarf who once pretended to be his son to steal his money, and furthermore, why does Jerry Lawler think Hornswoggle is a child? And didn’t Hornswoggle have to ask Santa for the power to speak? Vince McMahon put a mute dwarf leprechaun in charge of his show? Didn’t they talk on the phone a bunch? Was it just Vince going “glad to have you on board” and Hornswoggle going “EH, EH EH, EH EH” on the other end?

The biggest joke is that I watch this shit. I think aside from the house show I'm going to next month, I'm done for a while....probably not even going to watch Money In The Bank....that will be the first step to not watching.

ive been out of the wrestling loop all summer. there used to be an awesome site that had raw reviews, but I can't find it.. can someone post it please

Glad to see nobody is defending whatever happened on the USA Network®, Characters Welcome™, from 9 PM EST to 11:05 EST last night, Monday, July 9th. Raw in 5 Minutes guy giving up, and the Best And Worst of Raw being 4 straight pages of negativity warms the cock-COCK-COCK-UNHH-COCKLES of my heart.

I can never forgive WWE for tarnishing July 9th with that shitfest of a Raw, it's a damn insult to my very existence, not even the birth of Nash can make the day cool again in wrestling context.

Still curious to see how Impact plays out on Thursday. Roode vs Storm needs to be resolved whether it is for the title or not. I think at this point you have to make Aries the long term champ/face of the company. The guy is hot as fire right now. That being said you cant turn him into Super Cena and have him burying the roster.

I would like Roode to get the strap back, Storm to win it af BFG to rekindle the rivalry and then AA to win it in a 3 way dance and be the long term champ going forward. Have Roode and Storm beat the hell out of each other for a few months, Aries go over on established vets like Angle, Hardy and Bully Ray, and build up Magnus for the next big TNA PPV after BFG. Magnus has all the potential in the world and has the mic skills to have a badass feud with Aries.

This dosent even factor in the soon to debut King Mo who seems like the kind of guy who could be a big star for TNA. They also need to sign Batista to be the leader of Aces and Eights. Have him and his group destroy everyone for a while. Wrestling needs a true badass stable again, havent had one for a LONG time.

Man talking about all this gets me excited. TNA has set things up where they have a ton of good roads they could take and still put on good logical storytelling. So many guys have been built or rebuilt the right way and because of that the possibilities for great angles or feuds are as good as they have ever been. Really looking forward to the future of TNA.

Good for you, djsandman.
When you attend said house show make a point of turning away from the ring with abject disinterest during Cena's match.
Marvel at all of the Jimmies in the audience.
Be grateful you are no longer part of said audience.
Go home and cleanse your palate by watching some TNA, CHIKARA or some other indy fare.

Whatever Impact does they now got to fix the James Storm storyline now. It was supposed to be he wins and goes against Roode who hasn't lost and gets his revenge and wins the title.

That is gone now. With Aries winning the title what steam left in the feud is gone. I hope they don't give aries a 2 month reign and then Storm facing Roode in October because that will not work.

It's still TNA.

In that case, find likeminded fans in the audience and encourage them to walk out with you prior to the main event.
Anything that sends the message of Cena apathy to the folks in charge is worth pursuing.

So not worth it

Good luck with that. Cena is the draw of the company, might not lke it, but most of the people there are there for Cena.

We all see what Punk meant by that tweet a while back. Turning the Punk/Bryan feud into a Punk/Bryan/Kane AJ love triangle with maybe 1 or 2 weeks worth of material and stretching it out over 2 or maybe 3 PPVs

Besides, the storyline has been fun, they just overdid it last week and then did this Raw, which was horribly written front to back.

Also, they don't tape Raw on weekends. Or was that a ppv weekend?

Is this in reference to the tweets I posted above? "This weekend" referred to No Way Out on that Sunday, June 17

Here is the Raw Rating for the awful show yesterday:

The 7/9 edition of Raw did a 3.2 rating, with 4,407,000 viewers. The show did hours of 3.11 and 3.22.

Last night's show did 4.41 million viewers, down from the recent weeks, but the show always goes down against the Home Run Derby. The Home Run Derby did 6.89 million viewers, up from last year's 6.55 million. Raw against Home Run Derby did 4.41 million, exactly the same as this year.

So Casual fans to us:
