You know what they should do with this angle? Put AJ, Bryan and Punk in the ring in seats and have Jerry Lawler do a Springer style interview with some security in the ring to keep things in order. It would get the crowd to chant Jerry and be hysterical......but no, WWE can't be that creative.

I know everyone here has a boner for Serena, but imagine if they could have a new SES back with AJ in her place. MONEY. It's the only way a Punk/AJ team would work, anything else is going to be horrible.

Impact Wrestling will be losing viewers if Direct TV drops Viacom which includes Spike TV. Its gotten so bad that impact gotten Hulk Hogan to cut a promo on Direct TV.

Actually, if you listen carefully, he cuts the promo on the fans who have DirecTV, but don't call them to get their channels back.

It's not really punishing him, the ANX is no more. I'm sure they'll have him pick a new partner for the tournament. Although, I always felt Rhett was somewhat protected by how over King was, don't get me wrong, he's improved a ton, but he'll need the right partner if they want him to continue as a face.

Not really, the attitude era was full of kiddy nonsense like the New Age Outlaws
And overexposure to any of the top stars makes them stale and shitty, it even happened to Rock and Austin. It's just that nowadays they have so few people that they treat as top stars so the problem is magnified.
Okay? Punk's main antagonist in the feud last year wasn't Cena either, it was McMahon and the WWE management. Cena's role was as the flag bearer for a broken system. They're starting to hint at Punk feeling a need to challenge for dominance, whether his anger is directed at Cena or elsewhere remains to be seen.

If they're going to do an 8 team tournament, I'm sure they'll have to find him a partner because they don't have eight tag teams that I can think of.

YB's, Briscoes, WGTT, Rhett + friend, Disciples of Truth, Bravado Bros., Embassy?, and then I dunno some combination of an American Wolf and a Future Shock?
Maybe they'll bring in some outside talent. Spectral Envoy would be sweet.

Plus, they could always throw together random teams with guys like Rhett, Cole, Lethal, Whitmer, Ciampa, Bennett, etc, or maybe bring in a CHIKARA team - the Batiri posted this on twitter earlier; "@TheBatiri - Word around Bled Island is that @ringofhonor is having a tournament to crown their new tag team champions. Interesting...."
No way would Future Shock reform after that brutal match between Cole & O'Reilly at the last iPPV, and I guess I could see an American Wolves reformation now Davey & Eddie aren't really feuding, but it may be too soon.

Oh yeah, I meant like a team of O'Reilly + Davey or Cole + Edwards or vice versa. Not like any of those four have much else going for them at the moment.

Fire the models and let the remaining women actually wrestle matches longer then a minute. Can't get rid of ring rust if you don't get to wrestle more then once a month on TV and once every other week at house shows.
Though they did need to replace Dusty Rhodes, as far as I know he was training the divas before his firing. Maybe Del Rey didn't want to sign as a talent and get buried.

I actually enjoy all the AJ Punk Bryan stuff because i know it will be over soon, its just a matter of time before Cena starts another reign of terror. Only reason i watch WWE anymore is for Punk. I enjoy watching his matches alot. WWE wont push anybody new for the rest of the year on RAW all spots are pretty much taken with Lesnar HHH and Rock. Ziggler is the only person i see maybe getting a shot on Smackdown but thats pretty much it.
