July Wrasslin |OT| The Game, The Kane, The Pain, and The Insane (AJ)

Orton's really fallen off the map in the last year, he was feuding with mid carders ever since losing the World title to Henry. Perhaps the time off has re-energized him?

I'm one of the few here who actually likes Orton, I think.

I like Orton as a heel.

He's as boring as watching paint dry when he's a face tho.

Screaming yes all the way to bedlam. I don't care how "buried" or "on the top" he is, Ham Bryan needs to stay for a long time.

Remember when Bryan had the reputation, years ago, of the ****** style "amazing wrestler but no good at promos or being charismatic"?

Question, are the 30 and 60 day Wellness suspensions paid suspensions?
I've found the info.

Okay I just looked up why "She's 17" is trending(Missy Franklin). Vinces buddies at NBC tape delaying the olympics is going to make it very hard for anyting WWE related to Trend.

That's true, but unfortunately it's pretty much impossible to turn him heel now. Hell, the reason he's face now is they wouldn't stop cheering him as a heel.

I just wish they would let him be cheered, but just not "treat him like a face", if you know how I mean. Most of the time he's very neutered and tame, not to mention his Viper character is lame. Once upon a time he was lively and even entertaining on the mic. The real Orton is lively and fun to listen to, if he must be a face just tap into that.

The Viper character is a heel character, so it doesn't work as a tame face.

That's because he was using his heel personality as a face, which was a terrible decision. Orton's natural personality is much more like a face, but people have been so used to his SLOW. PACED. PROMOS. that they don't know anything else.

If they let Randy be Randy (if he IS acting like a face, that is), then it can work.

Is Vince trying to stop the Yes! chants by overusing them in this manner? Kind of like a type of reverse psychology.

Judging from the promo before his match, they're trying to make the YES chants a thing to chant against Bryan as a heel, rather than to show support. Like "You Suck" for Angle, back in the day, even if that was eventually turned into a face chant.

It's better than trying to just kill the chants outright, and does make sense that you want the crowd booing the heel.

Still, it won't change anything, smarks will never stop chanting YES for Bryan, at most they'll get marks chanting it thinking they're "annoying" Bryan in the ring.

Well they can use sparklers.

I miss his silver spoon arrogant jock-ish heel persona when he was Intercontinental Champ. He could still be the butt of jokes but was a definite threat in the ring. Now THAT could work as a current face character for him, and it fits perfectly. It'd be fun. Kind of a spin on The Rock, with both of them coming from wrestling bloodlines and having natural talent, but Orton could make it his own.
