Alright DDT Universe acquired. Anybody got a good place to start if I want some context for this years big show at the Super Arena?
Imagine playing Overwatch and ARMS like a total nerd.
Imagine living that life.
Zach you make it so easy.2011 is dead to me! Just a few more years to go!
Did you see Suzuki forearm him to death a month or two back? That was awesome
Fave five?Hi Wrasslegaf, been lurking for a bit and decided I should start posting in a community thread. There was no better time to start posting than the night of the highly anticipated PPV tonight. I was going to start posting here or the anime thread and since I watch more wrestling than anime.... Congrats?
Fix'dThere are a lot of boring dudes after 1997.

There should only be threads for the PPVs that matter.

2. Tetsuya Naito
3. Jeff Cobb
4. Neville
5. Hiromu Takahashi
The leadup Road To serves as a primer for the top 3 title matches

The Seika Sekiguchi vs Tetsuya Endo match sort of serves as the backbone to the tag title match and sets the stage for a prolonged rivalry down the line

KUDO vs Takeshita Konosuke put Konosuke back in title picture for the Saitama show

Most of the Saitama card aside from this is built around spectacle and some storytelling that I'm just in the dark about, especially with the undercard jokey guys.
I'll always say WCW's treatment of Steve Austin and Jericho in the 90's were the company's biggest misteps ever. People always cite guys like Mysterio, Benoit, and Eddie as missed opportunities but honestly at the time none of those guys really had the charisma to carry the ball. Austin and Jericho did, however.

Not initially. He really struggled with it for a long time. There's a reason Art Barr was the one with all the heat in the Love Machines.Eddie had a fuckton of charisma
Also if anyone but Nintendo put out ARMS I have a feeling it would get absolutely mangled for its lack of content. Style only gets you so far but it goes a little further when its Nintendo.
just wait until Gundam Versus is out if you want a good arena fighter that doesnt feel slow and has shit to do in it.
Neville! Nice list.Currently:
