Pretty much the whole NWO/DX/Monday Night Wars era had a lot of this stuff going on from both sides. They know how to play the audience.

Joey's one seemed like he agree to a shoot like script, Punk did Shoot IMO.

Vince agreed to it beforehand, but some of that stuff had to be on-the-fly

Obviously he was supposed to take the mic and say something but I do think that when he went too far, they cut the mic off, so I wonder how much of that was planned, and what was off script.

worked shoots are awesome, unfortunately he has nooone to play off of when a room full of Vince yes men write everyone's promos for them and aren't allowed to be themselves.

right, that one was just particularly jarring because it was the first time WWF did something like that, we knew Hart had legit heat with HBK, etc. i remember the reactions on rspw
