Either end of the NBA Finals or spoilers sounded like a better show so more people tuned in? Or a combination of both.

Good read. Sucks he left the company from a personality stand point, but understand why he would need to leave. For someone with training here and there, his matches were good. For someone in his position and wealth, he put his body on the line and was willing to give everything he had to put on a good show. Im sure living in Vinces shadow isnt easy and breaking away is probably for the best.RBH said:Shane McMahon talks about his life outside of the WWE:

Why are all of these guys dressed up like insects/Power Ranger villains?BillRiccio said:CHIKARA is far and away my favorite promotion right now. The wrestling is really good, the storylines kick all sorts of ass, and the characters are better then anything you'll see on tv. Not only do you get great in ring action but you get great entertainment. I would highly suggest going to these shows if you can.
We're all in agreement that Vince is a control freak but to your above point I'm not so sure Heyman would happily go around and refer to his past stint working for the WWE as "working for a failure" if Vince was as "receptive" to being challenged as you imply. The Bookerman said:that's funny cause I remember an interview with Paul Heyman on off the record. He basically said Vince didn't like Yes-men. He liked having Heyman around cause he would challenge everything he said.

I was a late starter, my first PPV being Rumble 2000 at the tender age of sixteen. A Rocky fan to the end. Unfortunately I've grown into one of those cynical anti-Cena fans with barely anything nice to say about the product any more. The recent Zack Ryder stuff has sickened me, and I'm becoming increasingly sick of WWE as a company, and their distancing themselves from "wrestling", which is the reason I fell in love with the compnay in the first place! So yeah, pretty standard stuff.
I'm so pleased I joined Gaf on the weekend of a barely-remotely exciting PPV!
Also, wtf at Shaemus. Can we have him back on Raw please?

I think it was probably closer to 2 years, now that I think about it.worldrunover said:Holy shit it takes 18 months to get onto GAF? That's insane!
Also, they should really turn Sheamus face. They need another top face on SD anyway.

We could call it "the Genesis".
You guys obsess over him way to much. Maybe he is just a guy that runs his business and does things his way? You can read a thousand dirt sheets and watch a thousand shoot interviews and get a different Vince in all of them.UberTag said:If anything, Vince might like having antagonistic personalities like Heyman and the Internet around to tell him he's wrong so he can continue to foster this delusion of "bucking the system" and "fighting the establishment" while pursuing this flawed path of his where talent isn't developed, he controls everything obsessively to the point of smothering anything creative and where practical jokes against his talent at the expense of the product are justified.
No...they all say he's headstrong and is the reason the company is where it's at today, for better or worse. I would say worse lately considering profits are dropping, ratings are in the shitter and PPV buyrates are the worst they've been in years. Some booking and quality matches would certainly improve that. But everyone says that at all goes back to Vince.remnant said:You guys obsess over him way to much. The biggest wrestling company in the world? The company that's falling profits would make any other wrestling promotion cry?JdFoX187 said:No...they all say he's headstrong and is the reason the company is where it's at today, for better or worse. Especially if the Rock could stop by to remind the now former champion that The Rock is only coming back for a wwe title match.......

x Power Pad Death Stomp x said:Oh, I agree 100%, but we've had Cena cutting promos about how it is such an important match and it has to be for the title. So if he loses the title, it gives him a reason to chase it for a few months while the evil heel taunts him and the Rock shows up every 6 weeks to check in if he still has a match for WM.
Not the greatest of armchair booking, but it's better than LOL CENA WINS every PPV for 13 months because they decided to announce the WM main event so early.
This works.cartoon_soldier said:The best way to build this up again would be for Cena to challenge for the title at RR and Rock causing him to lose.
If Rock vs Cena is for th title match that would be awful.

Aside from one or two, these are the most bizzaro PPV predictions I've ever seen. You expect both heels to win and take the belts off their respective superman champions? Not hardly.Ultratech said:Picks
