Mason Ryan's over as fuck. I'm amazed he didn't get voted in legitimately.

He always reminds me of the first wrestling show I went to. It was a WCW Saturday Night whatever that show was called taping. Wrath came out and the whole crowd, and I mean the whole crowd was chanting "Adam Bomb".

I concur, Punk doesn't need a stable, especially if it's as poorly handled as SES and Nexus. With the way the heat drained out of the original Nexus angle it's glaringly obvious that WWE doesn't have a clue how to properly book a stable.

In other news, another angry/incoherent/redkneck Briscoe Brothers promo ahead of the iPPV on Sunday;

I think it surprised Mason Ryan as well ... he looked confused and constipated all the way to the ring.

Bet Trips was going nuts backstage at Ryan going over his boy Cara in voting ..

I've only seen Devitt vs Omega so far as I'm waiting for my disc copies to turn up, but I really want to see Sasuke vs TAKA and Davey Richards vs Devitt so I'm tempted to just download them. The Super Juniors are always great though, and this years looks exceptionally awesome.

This really got me interested.
Where do you get your disc copies from?
I certainly am not afraid to support a company that I love watching and would actually prefer to be able to do this by buying their DVDs or perhaps a shirt or two.

But I know if no place where I can order them.
I'm in Belgium myself and tend to order pretty much all my movies and games from UK shops, so I certainly don't have a problem importing them like this.

I already checked on play.com but the only thing they have is WWE and some TNA stuff.

WWE feels like watching a movie that's on a constant repeat.
I was really happy they had Christian win the belt, it felt like a much needed change but that change was very short-lived when Orton won the belt. Now they give a mid-carder (R-truth) a push only to end in defeat by Cena and they end up in the mid-card again. Rinse and repeat. All this just to please the children or its just lazy writing imho.

But all of this has been said before, so here's a gif of AJ.

Where this AJ?

Oh wait Vince has "Mother" issues. too bad.

Unfortunately NJPW and most other Japanese companies don't have a way for foreign customers to order their stuff, the best solution is to purchase DVDs from tape traders who directly record this stuff from TV. I'd recommend www.ivpvideos.com and www.slambamjam.com - they do copies for around $5 a disc and postage is quite reasonable.

WWE.com updated their article about the voting snafu...

WWE.com said:
Votes for the third poll’s bout — Kane vs. Mark Henry in an Arm Wrestling Contest — were counted correctly. However, problems began to occur again during the next poll determining a match stipulation between United States Champion Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston. At this point, so many text votes were received that the system overloaded, crashed and had to be restarted.

With little information to work from, WWE management selected to follow the system’s earliest projections, which determined that the 2-out-of-3 Falls Match had been the people’s choice. It was not until later that it was discovered that “Vickie Guerrero Banned from Ringside” was actually the top vote getter.

Restarting the tabulating system allowed for things to run smoothly with the voting for the Triple Threat Match to determine a No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship going off without a hitch.

Faith in the WWE Universe destroyed...

So is WWE liable in any way for this? People will have paid money to vote by text and them not getting the outcome the majority picked surely means its false advertising?

I'm going to sue them. WHO'S WITH ME?

Why is the WWE even bothering telling us that there were voting mistakes? Nobody cared that much, and it only taints the next viewer's choice event.
A lot of people cared. The live audience was booing the shit out of those stipulation announcements and Twitter was on fire over Mason Ryan getting voted in over Sin Cara.

Not that anyone is going to be making millions off this becuase they didn't get to see Sin Cara wrestle but over here in the UK some shows have got in some pretty serious trouble over people not having their text votes count.

Wow, I assumed the entire voting process was a work.
Cyber Sunday/Taboo Tuesday was legit but they would always strongly suggest to the fans what to vote for. There were occasions where they didn't know what to expect though. For example Jericho has talked about Taboo Tuesday 2004 where there were 15 potential opponents for him and he went out to the ring with no idea who it was going to be or if he or the other guy would go over.

I think the bigger issue with that is if you paid to vote. If people were required to pay an additional fee to cast their ballot, like some shows do, and I think Cyber Tuesday/Sunday did once, and the votes didn't count, the WWE could be in major trouble.

There have been ex-WWE Creative Team members that swear that WWE never rigs their fan voting results no matter what...

I believe this.

Canada was on a delay last night so all those people voting in Canada for Kelly Kelly were actually voting for Mason Ryan.

Also WWE kind of forces you to pick what they want. Look at the main event stips. The only one not under normal rules was the elimination match.

Can you imagine how heartbroken Vince must have been when he was told that Mason Ryan being voted in was just a glitch?
He probably couldn't hear whoever told him over the sound of his boner ripping through his pants.

Just a random thought as I was skimming this thread on the way home:

I wish Vince would bring Sid Vicious back and have him feud with John Cena.

TNA Wrestling Reportedly Suspends Matt Hardy
By Daniel Pena (Rajah.com)

Matt Hardy stated last Sunday on Twitter that he would be receiving a few weeks off from TNA Wrestling.

He wrote, "Between dates, injuries, & outside issues, I'm gonna have a few week off & I'm ecstatic! The Matt Hardy Movement is going into full effect!"

According to PWInsider.com, company officials suspended Hardy due to continuously arriving late to events.

Hardy has not performed for TNA since the May 30 Impact Wrestling taping (air date June 2), which saw him lose to Crimson. He is, however, advertised to appear at this week's live events in Ohio and Indiana.
How does being suspended from the most lax wrestling company on the planet equate to "the Matt Hardy Movement is going into full effect"?

What a delusional fuck!

Or was he talking about a bowel movement? Although that's more of a Hogan gimmick...

And in other news, Melina picks a fight with yet another Toronto-born diva...

Melina Posts Video In Response To Gail Kim Calling Her 'Emotionally Unstable'

Melina posted a bizarre video message this morning in response to Gail Kim writing on Twitter that she's 'emotionally unstable'.

Kim wrote, "Good morning..wow a good nights sleep and a direct flight.:) and I'm NOT a horrible friend! @realmelina is emotionally unstable!"

Melina says in the video message, "Just came back from doing my last workout before I do the tour off to Asia and I read the tweet that Gail said I was emotionally unstable.

"Gail, I may be that, but at least I'm not a horrible friend! Like you. And believe me, after these two weeks in Asia, if you thought I was crazy before, I'm going to be that much crazier when I get back." She then says "love you" and blows a kiss goodbye.

The video also features enclosed captions reading "Kung fu time, SKANK!!!" and "B!otch No You Didn't!!"
Projected RAW programs for Summerslam in August based on upcoming house show events...

John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio * WWE Championship *
Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz
John Morrison vs. R-Truth

I'm inclined to think you'll also see Randy Orton vs. Mark Henry on the Smackdown side.

Damn, that's really too bad, but I kinda figured as much.

After all, how many people even tend to watch a show which commentators that they don't understand a single word from.
Must me a tiny niche.

On the disc part, not really sure if I'd like to support guys that do that kind of thing though. :-/

SD is about to start pulling Impact-esque ratings.
Isn't it already getting close? Christian could get a damn fine match out of Henry. He did it in ECW. But Orton? That's going to be such a boring clusterfuck topped off with a "surprise" RKO. I would pay to see Henry jumping off the ropes or springboarding into one.
