I must be broken. Tonight's Impact hasn't been too bad so far. Joker Sting, Tessmacher segment, Beer Money v. Morgan, Sun Tzu disciple Abyss have all been entertaining so far.

edit: Oh, spoke too soon. Thanks EY segment for reminding me that Impact Wrestling is still TNA.

Styles vs Daniels is the main event of Destination X? Ok what's the swerve?

Poor Samoa Joe has been left out because he will make them look bad from all the jobbing he has been doing so far this year :/

edit: Daniels was dressed like a used car salesman.

If it's anything other than Joe getting inserted in to make it a triple threat, booking needs restructuring.

Maybe the poll should be who has WWE handled properly. That way we could just list Cena or Orton instead of the entire midcard.
They haven't been used properly, either.

I could make a fair argument that all things considered John Morrison has been used properly.
Apart from the fact that he should have been Miz's holdover feud for the WWE title instead of Jerry Lawler.

Angelina isn't a zombie anymore. She's talking more which means whatever Winter is using to drug her isn't working anymore. I expect her to whoop Winter any week now.

SUPER DRAGON!! Oh Shi-

In the botchamania opening title....what is it that Hogan says???

Also, I laugh everytime I see that "super dragon" part, but I don't know the backstory to it. Anyone care to share?

Just start watching Botchamania from the beginning. You'll get all the answers you're looking for, and have a lot of fun in the process.

Hogan says "Semper Fi, brother!" I think - as for Super Dragon Fan, it's at a PWG show and this one guy will not stop chanting "SUPER DRAGON!", until the whole crowd are chanting "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" right back at him. Eventually Super Dragon, notoriously bad tempered as he is, gets in the fans face, he chants it again so Dragon jumps the guardrail and squares up to him and the guy pretty much shits his pants.

Hogan's saying "Yappapi".

From this famous promo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SeoAUe4ZAxg

Naoki Sano vs Ikuto Hidaka - (BattlArts 09/23/99)

Awesome tag match, unfortunately the finish seems to come unexpectedly as Morishima legit concusses Kojima with a nasty lariat.

Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega (c) vs Danshoku Dino & Yoshihiko - (DDT 04/05/09)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GL4nVLJtiQ

Classic DDT here as Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega defend the KO-D Tag Team Titles against Danshoku Dino and the inflatable menace Yoshihiko.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gtmU-hbT9I

Some good old M-Pro tag team craziness from way back in 1996.

Watching some of Superstars from this wee, did FCW teach the divas, outside Natalya, anything down there? Alicia Fox and Rosa are so damn awkward in the ring, and make me cringe when kicking. They can't even stomp correctly. Let Tamina work a program with Nattie and let the others get some training, goddam.

I guess this week's epidsode is a tag match and two Diva's matches. Waste time in re-airing Orton and Cena looking strong yet again when it benefits no one.

I've only watched the X-Division 3-way from last night's Impact (Ion/Darsow/Palacios), and that match was fucking awful.

But I'm happy to see that RVD vs. Lynn will be happening.

ROH TV press conference is about to start, seems they've got a new logo;

Also, looks like the air date of the first show will be on the 24th of September.

*edit, oh wow EVOLVE have signed Sami Callihan vs Finlay! Awesome;

Finlay vs. Callihan
June 24th

Dave Finlay likes to fight and he'll get one when he arrives in EVOLVE on July 26th at BB King Blues Club and Grill in Times Square, Manhattan, New York. Tickets are now on sale in the www.EVOLVEwrestling.com Shop or by calling 267-519-9744.

It will be Dave Finlay (0-0) vs. Sami Callihan (3-1) at EVOLVE 9 in NYC. We'll see how "fit" Finlay really is when he battles a man who has emerged as one of today's hottest new stars in Callihan. This first-time-ever match promises to be intense. Get your tickets now or watch it on live iPPV at WWNLive.com.

Looks like a tribal tattoo. :(

Does EVOLVE always keep track of and list their fighters' records? That's a really nice touch.

In that respects it's more like the original ROH logo, generic as hell.

Yeah, they've always had a heavy focus on the win/loss records and will often do stuff like having the win leaders face off, or the wrestlers with most losses facing off for their place on the roster.

The entire promotion revolves around it.

Anyone else hear about this? A promotion that does 12 episodes with a beginning middle and end, that's kinda like a tv show could be pretty cool.
This is the second time I've seen an impossible project get off the ground. That kickstarter website is legit.

I want to ask all of you - what's your favorite PPV? This can go back to who knows how long - I always enjoyed World War 3's gimmick.
Are we talking ppv event in general or just a single event?
Because it's the Royal Rumble on the whole, as for single events I've always been partial to a batch of WWE events in the first half of 2000 due to nostalgia, Backlash, Judgement Day, Fully Loaded and Summerslam in particular. This will require more thought.

GUYS

Tell me more about EVOLVE please. I am a mark for companies that take their product seriously. That won/loss record thing keeps getting better the more I think about it.

THANKS

I remember Garry Whitta talking about it on the tested.com podcast a few months back.

glad the guy got the money.

will keep a eye on it.

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner.

Oh, and btw, that's Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal, and Shawn Davari in case y'all are wondering.

Shit looks ridiculous. *face palm*

just watched the Gail Kim/Melina match from Superstars. That was a really good divas match.....hope they actually go somewhere with that feud.

also the Kaitlyn, AJ, Natalya match was pretty decent too......

need more of my waifu Natalya on TV, and need more divas that can do decent matches, but i guess we'll have to settle for my stupid ex waifu kelly kelly and crappy bella matches.

It's ring of honor with records. Thats kinda it. They use the record to book matches and ....yeah that's it.

So I had no clue what this "All Wheels Wrestling" was, now i've given it roughly 30 seconds of research but I don't think I need to go much further in my investigation to conclude that this is some kind of disaster in the making. Unless I have it all wrong and it's like Wrestling on race cars which makes Card games on motorcycles seem normal.

It's Gabe era Ring of Honor with records, there's a lot more random multi-man matches than you're likely to see in modern ROH. Also with the backstage segments it tries to be more realistic and documentary in style than ROH.
