Word going around at the WWE Smackdown tapings tonight is that CM Punk had surgery on his arm last week. Apparently Punk may be out of action for 4-8 weeks from the surgery. Punk has been working hurt for at least a few weeks.

Punk will appear on this week’s Smackdown with a sling on his arm.

So basically they're going to have Kane destory Punk either tonight or next week so he can have time off to heal. What's Kane supposed to do then? Do they rush Taker back or does he decide it wasn't Punk and go after someone else?

The problem with Morrison is that his moveset and wrestling style fits a lot better when he's a face. You really don't want the fans cheering after all his aerial maneuvers.

I see now why he was not put into the money in the bank for smackdown. Don't know where the angle will go now though.

I think Punk's a huge hit for Smackdown, he's the only legit main-event heel they have right now after burrowing Swagger like they did. Hopefully this is the incentive they need to hedge their bets behind another up and comer, Dolph seems like the only legitimate choice. I'm guessing they'll just turn Kane though, have him take the title off Rey and then have him feud against Taker.

I was really surprised by how well Watson did in the right last week, looked to be the best there other than Kaval. Would much rather see him competing tonight than Scotty 2 Hotty 2.

Also Husky looks like a hic, fatter, less talented Samoa Joe. I actually like his look for that reason, differentiates him from anyone else in the WWE.
