Yeah. It's propably white because of the cuttlefish genes.Looks like an albino Carcharodontosaurus.

It probably is the coloration of the thing, Lego tends to be pretty color accurate with licensed stuff generally.I wonder if that's really the colors though? The toys are not always the same color as the movie version. That said, your theory makes sense.
So what actually happened? I read it was going to air with Interstellar, but Interstellar has already started being on cinemas.
Yes, Im completely out of date when it comes to news.
Universal marketing swapped it out for Furious 7. It'll hit soon, but maybe not as soon as it was going to be recently.
Edit: Bleh, are they still pretending velociraptors are these big huge dromaesaurids? Call them Deinonychus and make real-sized velociraptors as well. Hell, throw in Utahraptors as well, get some variety in there.
Yeah that's what I thought. I was picturing some of those crazy models that Kenner did with their Chaos Effect dino lines, where most didn't look believable and more just like a Frankenstein creation.
Jurassic Park in a nutshell. Who cares about real world dinos anymore?! These are fictional dinos!
I wish we were getting a few feathered dinos here and there. Both feathered and scaled existed.
You cant just completely change how they look in a sequal, it makes no sense. If they did say they had somehow evolved to have feathers in 20 years then it would be just as scientifically inacurate as non feathered dinos.

Besides, this is kind of a reboot.

This one.

Theory about the Raptors: Chris Pratt's character is said to work directly with the Velociraptors. Perhaps it's a small pride, and each has a distinct look as to make them stand out.

You might be right. So they're the Bay Turtles of Jurassic Park.
Did the trailer hit and I completely missed it?

The craziest thing about the orginal JP is how awesome it still looks today.
Jurassic World is just going to be straight up crazy...
No, its a Sequel.
I hope so. I remember JP3 having terrrrrrible CG :/ The early 2000s' was like the awkward years of CG where it was being overused, and no one minded if it was bad or not :/
Well, at least we get some animatronics. I think? I remember conflicting reports on that.
They could easily have both feathered and non-feathered animals as well. Feathered raptors could be depicted as the "real-life" raptors, while the old raptors are kind of put to the side as they're essentially outdated which is why Starlord is taking care of and training them. Hey Hollywood! I can create simple logical concepts and explain them properly, that puts me above guys like Orci and Kurtzman. Put me on Star Trek 4, Transformers 6 and AmSpider-Man 3!
Different title, new park, doesn't follow up on any of the main story lines from the previous series, only connection to the old series is the Jurassic part of the title, Dr. Wu, Isla Nublar and dinosaurs. Hence why I said "kind of". It's a mostly new slate with a different title.
Which is one of the main reasons why the D&D movie is so glorious. Lots of "CG town" moments in that.
But they don't and this horse has been beaten into the ground, let it go already.
By a bunch of nonsensical excuses. I haven't seen a single logical reason why a movie that hires experts that ignore the experts say.
Because it was done in the first movies. Seems like a pretty good execuse for me.
I have never seen a Jurassic Park movie with full feathered dinos. And they continue to change with each movie.

In case people didn't see.. marketing has begun in the form of a viral site!
David Kentz says those are nothing more than repaints of old Lego Dinosaur models.

Not true for the Indominus, but this accurate for the others. However, the color schemes are accurate albeit stylized for the Lego brand.
